Specgen Reviews & Product Details

AI RFP & Tender Response Software for Complex and Confidential Bids Specgen is a French software company specializing in AI-powered RFP and tender response for organizations handling complex, regulated and confidential bids. Specgen supports the tender response process from document analysis and requirement extraction to source-grounded response generation and pre-submission compliance checking. It analyzes tender documents in PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint formats, structures key information and requirements, and connects responses to the organization’s own knowledge base. With BidMatching, draft proposals are checked against every tender requirement and evaluation criterion before submission. Teams receive a compliance assessment, source-cited justification and recommendations on what should be strengthened. Specgen also provides natural-language search across tender documents and organizational knowledge, with answers linked to their sources. Responses can be generated directly in existing Word documents and Excel questionnaires, allowing organizations to keep their own templates, structure and working methods. Every action remains under human control: AI assists and structures the process, while teams retain validation, arbitration and final decision-making. For production environments, Specgen can be deployed On-Premise or fully Air-Gapped within the organization’s own infrastructure. AI models, OCR, indexing, retrieval, generation and compliance analysis can run locally without relying on an external AI API, keeping sensitive data and processing under the organization’s control. This makes Specgen particularly relevant for organizations seeking RFP automation and generative AI capabilities without sending sensitive tender content to public cloud AI services. The platform also supports multilingual tender workflows across international teams. Specgen is particularly suited to bid and proposal teams in defense and naval, nuclear and energy, aerospace, industry and engineering, banking and insurance, the public sector and other regulated or security-sensitive environments. Specgen also supports public and private buyers with structured, traceable analysis and comparison of supplier bids.
