The SPARTAN products utilize Intrinsic ID's patented SRAM PUF technology to give microcontrollers and other semiconductors unique identities, which serve as the foundation for a security subsystem. It uses an identity component drawn from the physical hardware structure and thus is almost immune to counterfeiting and cloning. **What do you dislike about Spartan?** It may be difficult to integrate it with some low power or low resource IoT devices. Some versions may be slow or take longer to load which can slow down the performance of the device or, consume significant battery. **What problems is Spartan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spartan targets the emerging issue of counterfeiting and unauthorized access in the global environment of IoT. Spartan achieves this by affording each device, unique, hardware-based identities making it extremely hard for the criminals to mimic them or play around them. ### 2. The software incorporated authorization model directly out of the hardware and as such, is extremely difficult for the competitor to clone or fake our products. **What do you dislike about Spartan?** It can be complex when integrating it with specific low power or resource restricted IoT gadgets. The software shall run on some definite minimum processing power and memory and some of our products might not possess the said features. **What problems is Spartan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spartan solves the real problem of device emulation in the context of IoT. It builds a set of identity unique to each device and thus enhances our anti-counterfeiting capability. **What do you dislike about Spartan?** I guess Spartan appears to utilize some minimal amount of processing power that one of our devices doesn’t meet. This is a limitation that requires implementation of different security measures for the said devices. **What problems is Spartan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spartan offers a strong software solution to governing hardware in our IoT devices.
