What I like most is its advanced capabilities of using AI and ML for threat detection, for discovering the various new threats that were not visible in the past 5 - 6 years. Our organization's security posture has increased by 75% compared to previous years and making it more compliance-ready. I don't check the report more often due to its capabilities. Many people mention that Sophos Endpoint has high CPU usage and that the initial implementation can be a drawback. However, I disagree with this assessment. In my experience, these issues may only arise in much larger networks, perhaps those with more than 3,000 to 5,000 users. Installing or removing Sophos on a Mac is one of the most exhausting things to do. If Tamper Protection is enabled and the device hasn’t been active for 90 days, there’s no real way to fix it besides calling Sophos. Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike. The only minor area of improvement would be faster initial sync during first-time deployments, but that’s a one-time step.
