It is base upon behaviors so if new formats come out then it is already covered and will then replace any files automatically that get encrypted. It is an AV Malware solution that actually looks like it is doing something! **What do you dislike about Sophos Endpoint?** Limited to end points with their software on them. They are started to do 3rd party log ingestion and have had AWS and Azure protection. Other products have fallen short in many ways and as a result, were abandoned for another solution within 1-2 years. Sophos Intercept X: Next-Gen Endpoint is an incredibly comprehensive product that offers ease of implementation, ease of use for help-desk responsibilities and on-going administration. Our customer support experiences have always been positive, from start to finish. Our frequency of use is daily but time spent administering the software is minimal. Integration with our environment during deployment was seamless. Security controls and features and easy to find, understand and modify appropriately. However, as with any product there's always room for improvement. I can think of only two areas where minor improvements could be made. Group visibility and management could be improved by offering a 'Group' filtering option in the Computers view of the admin portal.
