Solus desktop environment called Budgie, is fast and good looking user interface and it's really easy to use. Windows and Mac users probably going to feel it more familiar because of their adapted UI design. Also it has a Windows-like applications pinning option and also the notifications panel on the right. Solus is made based on its own distro and they haven't taken any other Linux distro as reference. Solus is generally fast and reliable; in addition, it has many options and features to handle your servers.

The good things are that, although it has many different options and buttons, once you get the flow, it's practical and straightforward to use.

Upgrading a VPS is easy, the same as reconfiguring the network or reinstalling.

If you are looking for a fresher Budgie desktop without the issues you can find in Gnome or Plasma then Solus is an option in 2021. The UI is streamlined and almost material based in the design.
