What do you like best about SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server?

It is a beneficial device while doing Network & data Center monitoring. We can quickly identify in case of any Devices down and hang stage.

It's easy to integrate with Next-generation firewall, Proxy, Router, Switches, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACS, F5, Net scaler, and Cloud devices.

I have integrated most network devices with Syslog very efficient way. It can send the alert very quickly and send it to our team DL email very fast. We can quickly resolve any problem and reduce the outage of the organization. one most important thing is we can highlight the essential devices and make the proper network monitoring for high-risk devices. i observed some we are facing issue while intregating the network devices with solarwind syslog server or its not sending proper log inofmation or sending false info to clients.

its also have dependency on client software version as well.

We have very large enviroment of Network Devices so we require to monitor each and every thing but once we have intregated with firewall its not sending proper logs due to which we are not 100 % monitor our devices and this devices are very critical so we update our firewall version so it easily ingreated the kiwi solarwind syslog server and once we updated the devices we are getting proper logging and information. Kiwi Syslog Server is very easy to install and set up. It is easy to customize and maintain as well. It doesn't use too many resources on the host and has never given me any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish the menus were easier to use and the documentation is not the most detailed for a beginning user. Support is very good and helped me deal with the setup questions I had so that wasn't a huge problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If your environment is bigger one which have thousands of devices (Network/Widnows or any other syslog enabled devices) then Solarwinds Kiwi Syslog Server is a nice a tool for you. It not only handles any amount of syslog messages. It also offers multiple actions that you can take on received syslog messages e.g. Send an Email, Forward Syslog Message, Write syslog in a Log File. But if you are looking for a solution where you want to integrate Syslog Messages with Third Party ITSM tool then you may have to struggle a little bit since you have to find a way of integration via Email or Logfile since there is no Write Syslog Messages in Event table option.
