It handles any volume of data and is accessible to Administration. It can be integrated into any system with ease. **What do you dislike about Software AG Adabas?** There is no such dislike for Adabas; I can only say that it's not a complete relational database, so some relational database features are missing. And it's a bit costly so that big organisations can use it. **What problems is Software AG Adabas solving and how is that benefiting you?** I worked on Adabas for Mainframe when I was working with a Manufacturing and Insurance client for almost eight years, and It helped our client in running Sales, Service and finance. The benefit of using Adabas for the mainframe was that it is secure and swift to process millions of data; if anyone compares it with the new clouds, it is way faster in processing millions of records. ### 2. It has very good scalability, reliability, and manageability. It can withstand high load pressure and is stable. It can detect internal failures in the server. It is very active and there are many third party modules. **What problems is Software AG Adabas solving and how is that benefiting you?** BENEFITS Maximum performance. Adabas for zIIP allows you to add or remove instances as your traffic needs change, without interrupting the flow of incoming data. For example, if you have an online store, in high sales seasons you need to scale the capacity of your service with other resources and the balancer takes care of this without affecting the user experience. Failure management. Most balancers handle incoming application requests or verify load balancing between running server instances. If they use multiple data centers in several providers, failures detected in one can be avoided by redistributing resources to other areas, while the corresponding repairs are made. ### 5. Likewise, we see many specialized forms in other database Vendors. I tried to learn the ADABAS DBA task but could not find the relevant documents to gain the knowledge.
