I'm a user since 2017. I like it a lot, especially the fact that it has a friendly user interface and simple and easy to be used makes it an excellent tool for daily usage

The free features are plentiful and useful. Has almost all of the functionaly you can as for that is very similar to the microsoft office suite of products. Easy to use UI with minimal to no learning curve. Everything is where you would expect it to be and nothing you dont . Most if not all suite of applications match their office counter parts in terms of functionality and features. Some formatting issues when sending documents to users who use google docs and or Microsoft word. Saving in different file types can cause various little formatting issues. It is not so easy to adjust when sending via email or uploading to the cloud for another user to get. They are usually having to readjust or let you know that something does not look right when they open the file on their end. Usually it is just a formatting issue but still inconvient. Even after unsubscribing from their marketing emails it still keeps coming to my inbox. So much so to the point that I had to flag and have it sent to the trash directly which is a bit cumbersome and inconvienent if you unsubscribe it should mean it. PlanMaker seems to have some problems preserving formatting when I open up spreadsheets created in Excel. Sometimes the support team is a little short in their responses, as if they really don't want to be bothered with customer questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SoftMaker Office is a cheap alternative to Microsoft Office. It almost offers all the features which are provided by MS office. SoftMaker office provides almost all the capabilities which are offered by MS office. It has a user friendly interface and easy to use. It also offers free office to use which is basic version. This light weight, fast MS Office alternative is a highly useable suite, ideal for business and education purposes. Textmaker and Planmaker are particularly simple to switch too and the implementation of the Ms formats is arguably the best available.
