I like it a lot, especially the fact that it has a friendly user interface and simple and easy to be used makes it an excellent tool for daily usage the software is cheap compared to others, and it's possible to have it integrated with other Softwares compatible with most used OS including OS, Linux, and windows it doesn't require any training as any beginner, intermediate, or even advanced computer users can find their way to use it the software suit comes with all nececessary tools which you might need to complete your tasks and work **What do you dislike about SoftMaker Office?** nothing, all good with the software, the software was really well made. **Recommendations to others considering SoftMaker Office:** I recommend this software as it allowed us to: 1- save time 2- save money 3- get support whenever is needed 4- enjoy promotional offers 5- I didn't have to train my team to use it as it is easy and clear you will not get lost when you want to use it 6- easy to download and install, and set-up 7- compatible with multiple operating systems 8- possibility to save your work under a different format 9- easy to mange 10- doesn't overuse your computer's resources **What problems is SoftMaker Office solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1- the cost of a license is cheaper than other similar software 2- customer support is always there to help 3- it doesn't need advanced or unique skills to use it 4- it provides multiple formats under which you can save your files and data 5- It doesn't consume your computer resources 6- it allows saving under PDF format 7- it supports multiple languages ### 3. Has almost all of the functionaly you can as for that is very similar to the microsoft office suite of products. Easy to use UI with minimal to no learning curve. Everything is where you would expect it to be and nothing you dont . Most if not all suite of applications match their office counter parts in terms of functionality and features. In addition to this some of the UI is easier to use in softmaker as compared to your traditional office suite. **What do you dislike about SoftMaker Office?** Some formatting issues when sending documents to users who use google docs and or Microsoft word. Saving in different file types can cause various little formatting issues. It is not so easy to adjust when sending via email or uploading to the cloud for another user to get. They are usually having to readjust or let you know that something does not look right when they open the file on their end. Usually it is just a formatting issue but still inconvient. Even after unsubscribing from their marketing emails it still keeps coming to my inbox. So much so to the point that I had to flag and have it sent to the trash directly which is a bit cumbersome and inconvienent if you unsubscribe it should mean it. **Recommendations to others considering SoftMaker Office:** If you just need a quick fix for your organization with office like functionality without the cost this will work especially if you do not have many external facing clients or need to send out external communications. If you do anticipate or interact with other individuals outside of your organization, who are not using softmaker you may run into some formatting issues. **What problems is SoftMaker Office solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cost-effective option for a smaller company that does not have the resources to invest in a full suite of office 365 applications. It gets the job done for now. Especially if you just need a quick solution with little to no cost. ### 4. Sometimes the support team is a little short in their responses, as if they really don't want to be bothered with customer questions. **What problems is SoftMaker Office solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for something that would work well on both Linux and Windows but wasn't as buggy as LibreOffice and this fits the bill. The application has good performance and is not intrusive offering you the premium version. In case you need to have access to VBA macro functions, the paid version has a good cost benefit in relation to the main competitor and market leader. In addition, the UI is similar to Microsoft Office, which makes it easier for users to adapt. **What do you dislike about SoftMaker Office?** I am not a regular VBA user, but I feel that basic functions could be available from the basic version to automate repetitive tasks. However, the softmaker even in the most basic version meets the needs of the vast majority of users. **Recommendations to others considering SoftMaker Office:** The Softmaker office suite is great for less powerful computers as it lacks common features in competitors that use a lot of hardware resources or even require a quality internet connection. There is a free version with which you can test the product this way so you can know whether or not it will adapt to the software in this package. The applications are not functionally better than the main competitor, but the cost-benefit is better and the performance is higher when you don't have good hardware. **What problems is SoftMaker Office solving and how is that benefiting you?** The two largest companies that offer office application packages have problems. One is a fully SaaS solution which has its advantages but does not adapt to my need, the other has prices up to 10x higher than the SoftMaker solution that suits me perfectly. ### 12.
