Smartbuild is a terrific visualizer with a plethora of options while designing. Being able to put in your pricing to through the back end of the program gives the ability to easily generate current, active pricing that updates as you model your structure. As a manufacturer of steel frames, our worry was that the integration of the software to our product would be impossible. With a good amount of work and some help along the way from the Smartbuild crew, we were able to get this software to a place that we feel comfortable realeasing to our dealers to be used as a sales tool. We even are trying to go the extra mile and utilize Smartbuild to generate the materials lists and purchase orders for each building with the outputs feature within the software. It would be nice if the outputs were more customizable and smarter to work with. Majority are word based with tokens that call back to the software to fill in values. It would be nice to see this become more excel friendly especially if that would grant the ability to have excel fill in the values with token and still carryout a comand after that.
