What do you like best about SKYSITE?

SKYSITE functionality flexibility and the easy access of its features is very good, and the Mobile and Office access are great.

The drawing integration power is also amazing, easy tracking down different issues on various projects, task and documents management is quite simple.

What do you like best about SKYSITE?

Ability to favorite projects so that you have a way to hide inactive projects without deleting the files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SKYSITE?

When going to download a plan set, you need to have loaded the thumbnail previews or it won't download "all" of the files in a folder. Only way to achieve that is go up a folder level and select the folder and download it that way. Slow and unresponsive when trying to scroll down to the last files in a folder. You get shown 50 thumbnails at a time and they often take minutes to show the next set.. We often have a couple hundred files in a folder and if you want to access a specific file that is at the end of the list, it is actually quicker to just download the whole set from the hierarchy above the one you are looking in, and then navigate to the page you need via windows explorer.

First thing I do when we have an approved set of plans is go to skysite and download them all on to my desktop so that I never have to go back on skysite again for that plan set. That means it ends up taking a huge chunk of hard drive space for something that is already saved on a cloud.. but it just takes so long to access anything you actually want that there is no other alternative. Thank you for your feedback. We recently released a number of performance improvements that increased our upload speed by as much as 40-50% and allowed for the upload of several pages twice as fast. We hope that this has improved your experience.

If working from your desktop is your preferred method, we offer a sync tool that allows you to view and edit your files in SKYSITE directly from your desktop. This will also allow you to access your files while offline in the event you ever do not have an internet connection. The sync tool can be downloaded from the ‘Utilities’ link in the footer of SKYSITE.

What do you like best about SKYSITE?

It is very easy to use, I provide the ability to group files or folders, synchronization is automatic, the hyperlink also and powerful search help locate the information quickly and easily. Once loaded the files into the system are available and are fully downloadable. It has many features that are usable and I can work on the fly, my team can coordinate and collaborate better, and everyone can work from the current set of documents. What do you dislike about SKYSITE?

For inexperienced users the learning curve would be somewhat confusing, and I could verify that it slows down a little when opening certain types of documents such as Pdf and videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SKYSITE solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are looking for a software that expands our storage capacity and file management because being a non-profit organization we must and we have to have a record of all our activities, not only documents, but also videos, images as well as audio clips, all this serves as a guarantee of the work we have been doing with the indigenous population of Colombia and Venezuela, in that extensive search we find SKYSITE, as it facilitates compatibility with hyperlinks in the viewer, we can navigate quickly in large sets of documents and even use panels for faster and easier access. In addition with this automated system I reduce cost in stationery in addition to that the risk associated with the storage of documents in paper is reduced (fire, flood, robbery, loss). On the other hand, the ease of loading large files and being able to configure the system in the same way that we have it configured internally means that all our employees already understand how the program works. "Skysite is the Best Drawing Management Software for the price"

What do you like best about SKYSITE?

We used to be company that worked with paper, which was very time consuming and in how fast construction drawings change during a project, not feasible, since we have changed to sky site there are less field errors, and everyone is on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SKYSITE?

The main problem I have had is with syncing the app with ipads, there was a recurring issue with the app crashing. Sky site has been very good about quickly solving these issues, they have fantastic customer service, more so than the competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SKYSITE?

SKYSITE is easy to created organized folders and share files with clients, colleagues, and consultants. I can also see all the work out company produces and I can easily search for what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SKYSITE?

The only negative aspect I've currently experienced it that the files don't override and automatically replace old files. I would like to have this reviewed and see if there are any remedies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main way our company is using SKYSITE is by storing and organizing files that are to be shared with our clients and consultants. We also use it to share very large files ILO emailing. What do you like best about SKYSITE?

Can view and mark up plans. Can share with all team members of a project (architect, project manager, subcontractors). The generated punch list report is great for finishing out a project with everyone on the same page. Very beneficial to be able to load other pdf files in project folders. We have gone almost completely paperless in the field. We upload all plans and specs on Skysite and can make real time changes that everyone can see. We have also added subcontracts scopes of work into folders on Skysite so if there is discrepancy in the field the site supervisor can review for clarification. What do you like best about SKYSITE?

You are able to send large files quickly, through the send file option. This eliminates adding a person to a group or file, then sharing with them the file that you want to share. Indexing, it should be better explained or changed. I used the software for almost 1 year without knowing what it was or the purpose. I have not found any other thing that I have not liked, the program is amazing and the upload speeds and download speeds along with the notifications are amazing. Sending Large files without and issues, and being able to get read-receipt emails to make sure they are being downloaded. Its a life saver!
