It is freely available. The Panmode option is cool, it enables you to move the page around. **What do you dislike about sK1?** You cannot change the text color You cannot flip the text to face vertical or any other direction There is no eraser option, to edit the shape you made by erasing certain portions **What problems is sK1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cost effective way of creating vector graphics Can create your own vector graphics Can edit and improve ones that you created somewhere else. I mainly used power point before, but power point does not have the option to optimize the graphic as this software can. ### 2. The program was written by an expert in the area of vector graphics and is both well laid out and easy to use. The fact it is released under a GPL v3 license makes it even better. **What do you dislike about sK1?** The UI is perhaps a bit dated and navigating and finding the various tools can come with a bit of a learning curve. **What problems is sK1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** sK1 enables me to quickly edit our various vector images we use such as logos and product icons for our websites. Its free, small, and can be installed in a portable fashion on Windows so it doesn't take up a lot of resources like some of the other heavy hitters in this category of software. ### 3. I have used Corel since version 2 and liked it very much. However, the cost of updates did drive me wild! Now with Sk1 I can again do the vector graphics in the format that I love. There are some upgrades that need to be looked into to make it completely compatible (or better) than Corel. Need to be able to copy a graphic and paste or import it into this program. But it is a good start. **What do you dislike about sK1?** There are a couple of minor items missing that I sometimes used. Doing node manipulation is not quite there yet. (It probably is just my computer that does this). Also one thing that happens on my HP laptop is: when I choose the font item on the left side of my screen, so I can type words, it takes a long time to get active, but once active it works very well. Probably because of the number of fonts I have loaded on my computer. **Recommendations to others considering sK1:** This is a great replacement for Corel Draw. **What problems is sK1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** I really have not realized any extra benefits or problems yet as I am a new user to SK1. I have Lenovo laptop I dont know it is only me who is facing this issue **What problems is sK1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sk1 is great alternative of other vactor editing softwares.
