sK1 has all the tools and features most people need to edit or create vector graphics. The program was written by an expert in the area of vector graphics and is both well laid out and easy to use. The UI is perhaps a bit dated and navigating and finding the various tools can come with a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My best like of this program is that I can do the vector graphics as good OR better than I could in Corel Draw. I have used Corel since version 2 and liked it very much. However, the cost of updates did drive me wild! Now with Sk1 I can again do the vector graphics in the format that I love.

There are some upgrades that need to be looked into to make it completely compatible (or better) than Corel. Need to be able to copy a graphic and paste or import it into this program. But it is a good start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a couple of minor items missing that I sometimes used. Doing node manipulation is not quite there yet. (It probably is just my computer that does this). Also one thing that happens on my HP laptop is: when I choose the font item on the left side of my screen, so I can type words, it takes a long time to get active, but once active it works very well. one of the best things about sk1 is its free and open source,meaning its always gonna improve because theres a community of developers out there improbing this software because its open source. it has basic to medium softwares and imports and exports a lot formats as well.the user interface is same with the other softwares and resembles skencil since its based on it.the poly lines funtion is what i like the most.
