It is a preeminent software suite for scientific and other situations in which data is beyond what a simple bar graph can show and in which advanced statistics need to be applied to make data mean something. **What do you dislike about SigmaPlot?** The arrangement of data for graphing and for data analysis are different, leading to a fair bit of seemingly duplicated labor whenever this software is used. It's frustrating. **What problems is SigmaPlot solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used SigmaPlot as a scientist in training and have found it overkill for subsequent points in my career. You can generate various types of plots by using this. Piper trilinear and Chadda plot are examples of them . It is impossible to make Piper in any other tool, but Sigma Plot can make it happen . The detail of the pot was on another level. The feature provided by Sigma is good, and the default chart/plot type also helps to understand which pot we can use in our project . I used this product for four to five months . It's also a lot easier to use than other similar softwares. **What do you dislike about SigmaPlot?** I don't dislike much about it, but it can be frustrating at times. I often had to google how to do certain things in sigmaplot. I wish it had more tutorials or "help" features attached to it. **What problems is SigmaPlot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Excel doesn't have really any great graphing features in it. The possibility of making complex and comprehensive graphs where several details can be shown clearly. The possibility of performing a wide range of statistical analyses including meta-analysis, which is not always provided in other software. **What do you dislike about SigmaPlot?** The software seems to be made to be used by professionals. For a person who is not familiar with the software, it could be very difficult and frustrating to use it. Difficulty with pasting data from other software (e.g. excel) into Sigmaplot's datasheet, which requires, sometimes, writing or inserting all the data from the bigging, and this could be particularly troublesome if the data to be inserted is large. **What problems is SigmaPlot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mostly, I used Sigmaplot for research-related data analysis. the software was helpful in performing statistical analysis and graphing its results in a comprehensive way. In comparison with other software, Sigmaplot provided better graphing templates and data visualization. Additionally, other softwares do not provide a meta-analysis option, which makes Sigmaplot extensive and inclusive software where I did not need to buy (or subscribe) another separate software for meta-analysis. ### 10.
