We can also deliver through SG to clients, which really helps to accelerate the process. I also like that, on each project, we can organize it differently on the same platform. **What do you dislike about Shotgun?** There is a bit of a learning curve to the system since there are many, many options available. However, I do understand that's the result of having a software that includes so much. I also don't love that there isn't an "undo" button for certain changes. I've also had a few technical delays occur while using SG. **What problems is Shotgun solving and how is that benefiting you?** Without SG, we would have an issue with storing our assets and episodes in a way that our sister studio can also read on their side. SG allows us to share everything in an organized and efficient way. ### 2. Shotgun is very useful to take the notes during ongoin project. we can note down the things related to project and we can keep the track of every stage of the project. **What do you dislike about Shotgun?** There is nothing which i dislike but one thing i would like to share it took time to understand things but yes if we started to to use then it become easy . otherwise good. **What problems is Shotgun solving and how is that benefiting you?** keeping records and keeping track of the all stage. and we can recall the things if we missed something during the project. so we can keep things easily and smoothly ### 5. I see notes from previous days work and know what things i need to address to make sure things are going smooth for the rest of the team. **What do you dislike about Shotgun?** I don't fully understand it beyond uploading things I have to send in for review. needs more youtube videos. I don't know how to make a playlist, or maybe add something that was R&D related to one of the tasks so that it's visible to admin what i was working on for the day. Also it's a bit slow at times to load clips. My bar for video is youtube, so if a website is slower than that, then it's lost marks. also it's terrible to search for on google. since a lot more things shotgun show up instead of autodesk's shotgun. I think if there was some way for it to cache the pages or something on chrome it would be good, just loading the pages is kinda slow. maybe if it lazyloaded a buncha the webpage, and then the clips are loaded in later, or by scrollby or something it would at least feel more responsive? **Recommendations to others considering Shotgun:** I think it's good, I wish i knew more about the features of shotgun desktop, maybe it has more to offer that we're under utilizing **What problems is Shotgun solving and how is that benefiting you?** again, with the proper people operating it, it's good to use for reviewing shots for projects. the problems it solves is tracking video production for admin, and kind of being able to look at the project from a 30k foot view so to speak. ### 7. You can manage the team members' time and keep a track of what stage they are at. Also helps maintain notes and makes the reviewing process easy. It has saved us a lot of time. **What do you dislike about Shotgun?** Need more help with the day-to-day use of the software. There are a lot of features that I feel I haven't fully understood and uncovered as I'm not exactly aware of it.
