You have to read documentation and get caught up in learning the ShotCut way of doing things. It is great that I am able to import all of my raw footage and see it as thumbnails and can work with it form there. **What do you dislike about Shotcut?** As amazed as I am with the depth of work you can do in ShotCut, it is also one of the things I struggle with in the tool. There is almost too much functionality and options to work with. I am not a professional in the world of editing and often find myself not sure how to select certain options. It treats titles as a filter on a clip. If you want it to go over multiple clips it becomes difficult.The other major issue for pros, is that it doesn't read the clip timecode. **Recommendations to others considering Shotcut:** If you are looking for a good editing program for home videos, Shotcut is a good, free, program that works on Windows and Mac.
