Best part about using SeeTest is the ease of use and minimal to zero configurations or setup activities. The capability of automating iOS (iphones) on a windows machine without a Mac and get full control on the phone is mind-blowing. Ability to integrate with other APIs and tools is a great feature. I don't think I have anything as such that I hate about SeeTest. The only thing that bothers me are the bugs which come up in the new versions. Every year there is new addition in features and integration of various features. I am using SeeTest from 2010 and recommending to different customers in different regions (NA, APAC, EUROPE). The OnPremises Private cloud in-house concept was first introduced by Experitest, which most BFSI customers like. I like the support and process model. When I was working with a telecom customer, unfortunately, that deal took a 3-month period. During that 3-month period, I was liaising with various Business Managers from Experitest. Due to that, I was struggling to explain the entire RFP requirement to each Business Manager every time. I would suggest keeping one Business Manager until the end of the RFP process is complete. Very convenient test mobile platform for Android and IOS. I like that we can do a test at the same time on both platforms. It helps us to save time and company budget as well. The most useful thing SeeTest provides is allowing testing of mobile applications as well as browsers using a single tool. The cloud version which provides a range of applications like SaaS development, CICD implementation, client-server model of running scripts etc. Also the cloud version helps to capture the mobile device logs, activities while running the scripts. The element identification is a bit complex as time taken for detecting each element type is different like Native, Web and Hybrid. The license pricing for the tool is high and thus making Appium, an open source tool, to become more popular. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
