As a trusted MSP, I like that SecurityBridge Platform provides real visibility into what is happening inside SAP, something we never had before. I also appreciate its compliance and hardening features, using over 900 out-of-the-box use cases to baseline the environment against NIST and SAP security standards. This allows us to identify non-compliant parameters and work with basis and functional teams to consistently close every gap across all environments. Within six months, we moved a client from one-star to three-star security with SecurityBridge. I found the platform to be very versatile and impactful when it comes to SAP security. The initial setup was fairly easy, especially connecting the agent, which was very easy when managing customer landscapes or they are running on hyperscalers. I believe that the module name 'patch management' could be renamed. It's more closer to CVE management or security notes management. The name should better reflect the tool's functionality. Also, as an MSP provider, I would like to see segregation of customer data to provide more transparency to customers by offering dashboards., but i guess that already in the works. I've been using the SecurityBridge Platform for several years, and it has substantially helped streamline my work on SAP systems, especially concerning compliance, security checks, vulnerability assessments, and patch management. I love how it acts as a stable and steady guide, particularly for S/4 transformation projects, easily assisting in setting up systems securely and efficiently. The platform excels in covering various security aspects that usually remain unnoticed, reducing the resources needed for tasks like security patch management by quickly evaluating notes and ensuring compatibility. Its robust security and compliance monitoring capabilities significantly aid in IT audits, aligning with international standards like ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks. I find the installation process relatively smooth across most clients, and I am particularly impressed with their responsive support team, which provides prompt assistance within 24 hours. The comprehensive documentation further enhances my experience, and the platform's out-of-the-box solutions effectively tackle a broad range of problems, solving up to 90% of security-related issues. Moreover, I appreciate the platform's useful features, such as interface traffic monitoring and event monitoring; despite initial learning curves, tools such as the Violation Manager become highly beneficial once operational. Despite the SecurityBridge Platform being generally easy to install and having supportive customer service, my initial experience with setting it up was quite challenging due to the complexity of the client's landscape. While subsequent installations were smoother, the first was not pleasant. Moreover, the Violation Manager was tricky to set up, which indicates a potentially steep learning curve or inadequate onboarding for this feature. It would also be beneficial for the system to expand and integrate more with SAP's SaaS and PaaS products to provide a comprehensive solution for SAP security. I like the SecurityBridge Platform for its ease of use and how it provides a clear picture for CISOs. SB provides a comprehensive security and compliance platform that supports both SAP on-premise and SAP SaaS environments. It’s a mature solution with extensive use cases and proven reliability.

Because it’s a full platform, SB allows you to correlate security events with preventive controls for deeper insight and faster response. It also includes integrated system hardening, preventive controls, custom code and interface analysis, data loss prevention, trust broker functionality, and the ability to block downloads or prevent critical actions before they occur.

Because SecurityBridge is not agentless, implementation effort should not be underestimated. Depending on your change management process, this can be a factor, especially when it comes to BTP integration.
