"Engaging, Developer-Focused Learning with Gamified Secure Coding"
What do you like best about SecDim?

I appreciate how developer-focused SecDim is. I find learning much more enjoyable and engaging when it's interactive, and SecDim delivers on that. For anyone truly interested in improving their secure coding skills, the way SecDim is designed with its use of gamification makes it easy to get drawn in and stay motivated. What do you dislike about SecDim?

Nothing as such. I don't have anything I dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-World AppSec Training"
What do you like best about SecDim?

SecDim is as close to the "real thing" of finding and fixing vulnerabilities in source code as possible to find on the market. I first used the platform for the DEFCON AppSec CTF, where I immediately was fascinited by the technical side of the platform: Integrating with tools we use daily, the challenges themselves are without extra fluff, direct to the point and show how hard it can be to take into account all of the possible edge cases.

We're a penetration testing firm, and we use SecDim in our Secure Coding workshops with great success. It's easy enough to set up for a 1-day-workshop and has challenges for different skill levels, allowing us to challenge seniors while not leaving juniors behind. What I love here is that each challenge exists in variants for many different frameworks –

We're even seeing activity after the trainings, which shows how good the "game loop" of SecDim is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

The only thing I can come up is that there are no licenses tailored to our mode of use. I'd love to have licenses for a few days or weeks as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A application security training resource that gives software engineers real-world appsec experience"
What do you like best about SecDim?

SecDim is very easy to use, and mimics the real-world experience of finding and fixing security vulnerabilities in source code. It is full of application security labs, each with their own repository, test cases and CI/CD pipeline. This lets software engineers, like myself, actually fix issues in a way that is very similar to how we would do it at our workplace. You can experiment, see what works, what doesn't, and think more deeply about what the vulnerability is and the various ways to fix it.

They also have personal memberships, so that everyone whether they are software engineers, students, independent consultants, or open source maintainers can use SecDim to upskill. They even have pre-built virtual machines that you can connect to via the web browser in case you don't want to or can't use your local system for the challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

While many of the labs are inspired after real-life incidents, some of them are a tad contrived in order to allow the user to focus on the specific fix. The underlying issue that needs to be fixed is, in some cases, an architectural issue, and involves more than just fixing the logic in single function or two. There should be a description of what the static interface is that must not be changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SecDim: Practical, User-Friendly, and Perfect for Continuous Skill Growth"
What do you like best about SecDim?

I really appreciate how SecDim produces relevant and practical content, setting realistic expectations after completing each challenge. The platform is user-friendly and feature-rich, making it easy to navigate and highly engaging.

In a fast-paced tech environment, the more you use this platform, the more exposure and skill growth engineers gain. Additionally, their knowledgeable and responsive customer support team ensures a smooth experience, especially for first-time users.

Implementation is straightforward, and the platform can be easily integrated with other systems when needed, making SecDim a valuable tool for continuous learning and capability development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

Nothing much about what to be dislike on SecDim, some features and improvement still ongoing but current platform and services indeed meet the current industry needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Effortless and Engaging Learning Experience"
What do you like best about SecDim?

I used SecDim at BlackHat Europe 2026 in the Arsenal lab for an AI wargame, and it was fun. I learned quite a bit. I appreciate that SecDim enables learning in an easy and enjoyable way. It seems like an easy-to-use, well-prepared learning platform. I also like the wide variety of programming languages it offers to either improve in or learn the most common mistakes to look for as a pentester. The initial setup was very easy. I rated it a 10 out of 10 and have already recommended it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

Nothing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SecDim: Incredible Tool for Security with Gamification"
What do you like best about SecDim?

I find that the gamification of SecDim is exceptional, especially for the ability to do attack and defense challenges, which makes the process of learning secure coding fun. Getting started with SecDim is extremely easy and we didn't know of any other tool that does what SecDim currently does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

I would say that in some cases the user experience could be slightly improved. Sometimes it seems that too many clicks are needed to perform certain actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Depth and Real-World Relevance in Secure Coding Training"
What do you like best about SecDim?

SecDim goes beyond superficial security training the depth and realism are unmatched. Each module ties real-world vulnerability stories to hands-on developer labs, helping you truly understand why vulnerabilities occur and how to fix them.

I love how it mirrors modern development environments, so it feels like real work, not theory. The storytelling and practical exercises make complex concepts intuitive and memorable. It’s one of the few platforms that really bridges the gap between security theory and developer reality.

What stands out even more is the feedback from developers in our organisation, who’ve consistently said how much they’ve learned and how rewarding and engaging the platform is. It’s rare to see training that developers actually enjoy doing and talk positively about afterward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

The depth of SecDim’s content means it challenges you, this isn’t a quick “check-the-box” security course. Some labs push you to think deeply and troubleshoot like a real developer, which can take time.

But that’s exactly what makes SecDim valuable: it stretches your skills and ensures the lessons truly stick. It rewards curiosity and persistence, which is what real-world secure coding is all about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing learning experience"
What do you like best about SecDim?

I use SecDim to learn and deepen my technical knowledge. I particularly appreciate their fun, interactive labs that make it easy to put theoretical content into practice. The learning paths are well structured — you progress step by step from fundamentals to more advanced scenarios — which keeps you motivated and lets you measure your progress. "Awesome challenges"
What do you like best about SecDim?

SecDim offers highly practical and realistic security challenges that go beyond theoretical knowledge. What I like most is the technical depth and coding-focused approach, which forces participants to truly understand vulnerabilities at the code level. The platform is ideal for both red and blue team professionals who want to sharpen their skills through hands-on exercises. It’s also a great tool for continuous learning and team training in secure development and vulnerability analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

SecDim delivers excellent technical content, but some challenges might feel a bit advanced for beginners. Adding more hints or guidance in certain exercises could help new users get started more smoothly, without taking away from the depth that makes the platform so valuable. "A refreshing and practical approach to secure coding training"
What do you like best about SecDim?

We had the opportunity to test SecDim, and the experience was impressive. The hands-on, gamified format stands out—it makes secure coding feel more like solving real-world problems than following static tutorials. The ability to clone exercises and work locally or in the cloud using familiar tools was a major plus. It’s clearly designed with developers in mind.

Standout features:

- Realistic, challenge-based content that keeps developers engaged

- Seamless Git-based workflow integration

- Immediate feedback and performance tracking

- Modern and intuitive user interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecDim?

Since we only tested the platform over a limited period, it’s hard to assess long-term value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
