## About SDS Manager
SDS Manager is a cloud-based software that makes it easy to manage, share, and stay compliant with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Many companies struggle with chemical safety documents. They are often hard to track, update, and share. Mistakes can lead to compliance risks and safety issues. SDS Manager solves this by giving businesses one simple platform for all SDS needs. With SDS Manager, companies can store, search, update, and distribute Safety Data Sheets in just a few clicks. It supports global regulations such as OSHA, REACH, CLP, and GHS, so businesses can stay compliant across industries and regions. Whether you work in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, construction, oil and gas, or consumer goods, SDS Manager helps you stay up to date. The platform works for both small teams and large enterprises. Its advanced search and filter tools let users quickly find hazard data, EUH codes, or chemical classifications. This reduces time spent on manual SDS handling and cuts the risk of missing important safety details. Teams can also save and share filters, create reports, and send SDSs directly to suppliers, employees, or customers. Everything is managed in one secure hub. Automation is another major advantage. SDS Manager automatically updates old SDS files, tracks regulatory changes, and alerts teams about new hazards. Instead of chasing updates manually, businesses can trust the system to keep them compliant and accurate. For EHS managers, compliance officers, and chemical safety professionals, SDS Manager is more than just storage. It is a reliable compliance partner. Employees gain quick access to chemical hazard details, which helps prevent workplace incidents and ensures legal safety standards are met. This also builds a stronger culture of safety inside the organization. The software is easy to use, scalable, and designed with global compliance in mind. Businesses trust SDS Manager because it saves time, reduces errors, and improves efficiency. At the same time, it supports sustainability and strengthens an organization’s focus on safety and compliance. In short, SDS Manager is a complete SDS management software solution. It helps businesses stay compliant, protect their workforce, and manage chemical safety with confidence.

## SDS Manager Reviews
 ### 1. One-Click Secondary Container Labels with GHS Details and QR SDS Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Remy A. | HSE Manager, Chemicals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

The secondary container labels. Click once and the label appears with all the GHS pictograms, H and P statements, PPE symbols, and the QR code to access the full SDS. We used to create those labels separately in another application. It is nice that they now are created in the same system in which we maintain our SDS library.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

It will be great if the design of the QR code posters is customizable somehow. Our facilities work well with the existing one but the ability to use our company’s logo or change the design depending on the workstation would be useful for us.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The workers used to come to the EHS department and ask for an SDS that should go with a particular product as the name of the product listed on the container was not always correct according to our library. With the help of a barcode scanner, the label is matched directly with the SDS.

 ### 2. Offline iOS Access to SDSs That Just Works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | Occupational Safety Specialist, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

The offline app. Our warehouse has poor signal, and SDSs should still be available there. Using the iOS app, users can access all documents from the library without being connected to the Internet. This was essential to us, and SDS Manager did not disappoint without any tricks.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Documents of larger size may take some time to download using the app on mobile devices without proper Internet connection, but we have not encountered any problems due to that.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company operates in a bilingual environment where we use both German and French languages. Therefore, we always had a problem with our previous SDS software as it was a bad fit for us, while SDS Manager copes with both languages without any need of two separate programs. We are working with suppliers from different parts of Europe and from America, and managing updates to our library due to REACH and Prop 65 is not easy. The program alerts us whenever any product in our library contains a restricted ingredient.

 ### 3. AI Validation Delivered an Honest, Accurate Compliance Breakdown

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denisse B. | Plant Safety Officer, Chemicals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

AI validation. Running it through our entire library gave us an accurate break-down of which documents met the standards, which ones had issues, and specifically which sections were missing. For the first time, we saw our compliance in an honest light.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

There is some learning curve when setting up your location hierarchies for the first time. No big obstacles, but it required a concentrated afternoon session with the onboarding team to get it right.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For every chemical task performed at our facility, we needed risk assessments in place. And we were running behind schedule getting them completed. Manually, the process was time-consuming since it required getting the information from the SDS and entering it into a form. SDS Manager automatically extracts the necessary information about the hazards for the specific task described and pre-populates the risk assessment form. We have cleared our back-log in record time thanks to it.

 ### 4. Automatic REACH & Prop 65 Alerts That Keep Us Compliant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler M. | Safety Manager, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

The restricted substances alerts. We operate in a market where the regulatory requirements are very stringent and we have to know at all times whether any substance that we have in our database will trigger REACH and Prop 65 alerts. The system does this for us automatically and we get an alert whenever such a thing occurs. It has helped us identify some things that we would not have identified by ourselves.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Establishing the site hierarchy was a little tricky but once that was done the process has run smoothly ever since. Support was available at all times throughout the process.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously remote sites maintained their own SDS binders which were mostly outdated. Now everyone uses the same source of SDSs and as a result our compliance standing has improved immensely.

 ### 5. AI Validation Delivered an Unbiased, Detailed Compliance Snapshot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer C. | Health & Safety Coordinato, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

How quickly the whole setup process went. We gave our list of products and SDS Manager created the library for us. No weeks-long import processes and folder setups for us. We were working on the system before I even completed onboarding.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

There could be a couple more pre-made templates for report generation according to Canadian regulations. We like what we got, but having more templates will be nice.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without SDS Manager, getting secondary labels for our containers involved using another program, manual copy and paste of hazard information from the SDS and a risk of transcription errors. Now all we have to do is pull information from the already made library of SDSs. And the information is accurate since it was taken directly from the source document, no transcription errors possible.

 ### 6. Voice-Assisted Risk Assessments That Boost Consistency and Cut Repetitive Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ensley K. | Compliance Officer, Chemicals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Voice-assisted risk assessment. Here, I am explaining the task and the system completes the hazard information, proposes the appropriate controls and extracts the PPE information based on SDS. It is definitely not a substitute to judgement but it takes out the repetitive work from the process making the assessments consistent among all members of the team.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

As some of the older SDS documents needed to be manually validated for accuracy before migrating them, it took additional time. Nevertheless, it was only one time activity and it definitely paid off.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having three independent document repositories with inconsistent documentation in different departments, the unified source of truth that we access made a big difference for us, eliminating confusion and significantly minimizing the compliance risks.

 ### 7. Polish Language Support Made Implementation Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karl S. | Chemical Safety Coordinator, Chemicals, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Availability of the platform in Polish language facilitated implementation for our team. Safety software that we have tested did not provide a Polish version and thus would have entailed extra training for our team.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Implementation of our existing paper-based SDS library took some time at the beginning. Manageable but expect that if your starting point is a big collection of paper documents.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deliver chemicals to our customers and thus require transport labels that correspond to the information in our SDS documentation. Generation of GHS transport labels from the same platform that we use for our SDS management provided assurance of the consistency between the label and the document itself. This consistency is very important for us from the liability perspective.

 ### 8. Simple, Efficient Chemical Compliance Across All Our Sites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fiona C. | Regional EHS Director, Alternative Medicine, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

I have used many other applications to manage chemical compliance on multiple sites, but none compare to how simple and efficient SDS Manager makes it, all from one application. Getting updates to all eight of our facilities at once was a major hassle before. Now it’s just a few seconds of work.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

There were some pre-planning involved for setting up the role hierarchy in all eight locations, which had different access rights. The support team guided us through the process, and since we have implemented it, it is working perfectly.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inconsistency within our documents was the greatest potential OSHA/EPA issue that we faced prior to this project. Our chemical handling and disposal data is now uniform for each of the eight sites and everybody operates off the same accepted set of documents. The problem is solved.

 ### 9. QR Code Posters Make SDS Access Instant—No Login, No Searching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan B. | EHS Coordinator, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

The QR code posters. We put them up in every area where chemicals are used and our workers can pull up the exact SDS they need by scanning with their phone. No login, no searching, no waiting. It removed a step that used to slow everything down on the floor.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

The initial bulk upload of our existing SDS library took a couple of days to complete, but the support team walked us through the whole process and it was smooth once done.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping chemical documentation current across two warehouse sites used to require a dedicated person. Now it is handled automatically and both locations are always in sync.

 ### 10. Multi-Site SDS Libraries Rolled Into One Easy Account

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dean L. | EHS Director, Chemicals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Structure with Multiple Sites. We have sites in four countries where each has its own SDS library administered by a local administrator. It is all rolled into one account where I can see all sites without having to log into different sites.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

More options for customizing the dashboard would be nice, but the information that we need is there and readily accessible.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, proving the compliance history in case of inspection required gathering documents from various places. Now everything is in one place and the access history is available, which shows who accessed what documents and when.

 ### 11. Impressive Compliance Coverage Across Multiple Countries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anita S. | Global EHS Compliance Lead, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

I was quite surprised to see something like that, which complies with the OSHA, WHMIS, REACH, SafeWork, and so forth. When we are talking about a business running in 11 different countries, we seldom encounter such things.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Support can take different amounts of time during our peak times, but everything that we have had to deal with has been sorted out successfully. Now, we use Enterprice plan with dedicated account support.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There has never been a need for concern regarding the accessibility of the employees; the QR codes that were posted in different parts of the workshop provided us with an easy solution. The employees only needed to scan their phone camera and access the correct SDS. The inspections have now been very stress-free for us.

 ### 12. Straightforward Risk Assessments with Precise SDS Exposure Limits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia N. | Health & Safety Lead, Chemicals, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Conducting comprehensive workplace risk assessments is now a straightforward process, thanks to the ability to extract precise exposure limits from SDS files. This enables me to map chemical hazards to specific job roles with ease and generate targeted personal protective equipment requirements for our entire production floor.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Setting up customized automated email alerts for upcoming chemical expiration dates requires some initial configuration, which can be a bit time-consuming.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our safety reporting used to be fragmented, but SDS Manager has unified our environmental health data, making it possible for me to quickly audit our chemical footprint and maintain strict compliance with changing REACH regulations.

 ### 13. Cost-Effective Compliance Tool for Chemical Safety & SDS Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian O. | IT & Safety Systems Manager, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Very cost-effective compared to the market. Considering the number of features offered at this price, it covers all your compliance needs especially for chemical safety and SDS management.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Sending SDS data and configuring it was done based on the location and sublocations and it required some negotiation before we got everything set right. The SDS Manager team helped us through the process and now that everything is configured correctly, the data structure works well.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We require strict documentation under NESREA and GHS guidelines for conducting accident investigations. The automatic updating of SDSs and reports addressed the outstanding issues within our records that had not been solved for years.

 ### 14. Audit-Ready: Everything the Auditor Needed Was Instantly Available

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James H. | Plant Safety Director, Food Production, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

There was a recent HSE inspection that involved three years of paperwork at four locations, and everything required by the auditor was readily available. The audit trail is doing its job, and that is all that counts.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

While setting up a large SDS library database using various sources like pdf, binders, and lists did take time, once set up, it serves us for daily purposes effectively.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SDS Manager solves the problem of inconsistencies with sds documents at our four different UK manufacturing facilities. Now all of our locations use an approved version of SDS under both REACH and HSE guidelines, with full version history available on all documents.

 ### 15. One Account to Control All 14 Labs—Compliance Made Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda P. | Lab Safety Coordinator, Pharmaceuticals, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

The fact that everything related to the 14 labs can be controlled using just one account has greatly simplified the way we run our compliance management program. Multiple language availability is very helpfull for communicating & complince too.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

A couple of extra pre-made report templates would have been a good idea to have going forward, but the basic functionalities cover all our requirements.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team that helped us set up the library was very useful, and the prices for educational institutions seem fair enough. The hands-on approach they took when helping us initially, along with the good value for money we got, made the choice obvious for us.

 ### 16. Role-Based Access Control That Brings Consistency Across Warehouses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek O. | Safety Compliance Officer, Chemicals, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

One of the most practical aspects has been the role-based access control system. The managers from each individual warehouse operate with the data from their own location only, and it has helped create a degree of consistency within our organization that was absent previously.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Large PDF files might take some time to load on a mobile device, but offline availability is what really matters. Offline access to SDSs are very useful during emergencies.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, there were separate versions of the SDS found in various storage facilities. This was the most difficult problem we had with compliance. SDS Manager fixed the sds document inconsistancy for us.

 ### 17. Simple, Affordable, and Easy to Adopt—Great Swedish Version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom B. | Business Owner, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Quite simple to start, despite lack of IT experience, and the cost was quite affordable. The Swedish version was available as well, which helped our employees quickly get used to its use.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

So far I haven’t faced any problems; moreover, they constantly update the mobile application which is great since it helps fix any issues instantly.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We would keep hard copies of everything, but they always became obsolete. Now, however, all data is updated and available in a digital format, and even the latest inspection conducted by the municipal authorities proved to be quite simple to complete.

 ### 18. Automatic SDS Updates Keep Our Collection Always Up to Date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie L. | QHSE Manager, Chemicals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

SDSs automatically get updated. I don’t have to hassle suppliers about new editions and check the revision dates myself. When there’s a new version of an SDS, it gets found and brought to our attention. Our collection always remains up-to-date, and we don’t have to worry about managing it.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Some of the older SDSs in our collection in PDF format had some problems with their formatting while importing, but that wasn't really an issue and was easily sorted out by the support team.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the REACH compliance checking being previously done manually via spreadsheets, now the system tracks our chemical inventory according to the regulations and points out any necessary issues.

 ### 19. Always Up to Date—SDS Update Notifications Prevent Costly Close Calls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | EHS Manager, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

The best part of this for me would be that everything can be found at once and is up to date. The SDS Update notifications have gotten us out of a few close calls where we were using out-of-date documents unknowingly.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

It would be nice to have more features in the reporting module but not something that we were hindered by on a daily basis.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The onboarding team not only helped us transition out of our old system but also did a good job helping to make sure we had all of the necessary QR Code posters organized by location. Very easy process.

 ### 20. Fast, Handy Search for SDS Documentation and Hazard Info

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klaus H. | Chemical Safety Manager, Chemicals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

I use it to manage SDS documentation, chemical approvals, and workplace hazard info. It helps me locate specific hazard statements and chemical details in seconds thanks to its handy search functions.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Mobile access generally works well, though larger SDS documents may take a bit longer to load at times.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool keeps our processes organized for maintaining up-to-date SDS records and distributing safety info to staff, which cuts down on paperwork and lowers compliance risks for us.

 ### 21. Promising Solution for Efficient and Compliant SDS Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan P. | Global EHS Expert, CoE, Process Excellence , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

We particularly value the automated SDS acquisition and update monitoring, as well as the comprehensive risk assessment and screening of company-specific regulatory registers, which are expected to reduce manual workload, ensure up-to-date documentation, and strengthen overall compliance control. UI is user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Based on our evaluation, the only potential limitation could be the initial setup and onboarding effort required to migrate our existing SDS library and configure company-specific regulatory registers. SDS Manager team can support with this.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SDS Manager is expected to transform SDS management from a manual, reactive process into an automated, proactive, and compliance-driven workflow, delivering efficiency, reliability, and improved safety oversight.

 ### 22. Great Database That Delivers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arttu V. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

Great database and lots of sds files in multiple languages.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

Not much to dislike anything about what they have.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all of the chemical safety data sheets up to date.

 ### 23. The best SDS management software on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | NA EHS Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

We've had a very positive experience with SDSManager. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, making SDS organization and access simple for our team. It has streamlined our chemical safety processes and improved compliance management significantly.

One of the standout aspects of SDSManager is their responsive and helpful customer service. Any questions we've had were addressed quickly and thoroughly, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting their users.

Overall, I would highly recommend SDSManager to any organization looking for an efficient and reliable SDS management solution. It's a solid platform backed by a team that truly cares about their customers.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

one area where there's room for improvement is the AI interface that handles notifications and updates for new or revised SDSs. We've noticed that it occasionally generates false notifications, flagging documents that haven’t actually changed or are not relevant.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chemical management, risk assessment, compliance

 ### 24. Effective and simple to use, with visibility to all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stuart S. | EHS Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2025

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

We really like the SDS QR codes that we deployed in each department, giving instant access to all to see what substances were in our COSHH cabinets. The software makes it easy to audit and removes the mystery of managing SDS. We like the risk assessment tool and the step by step Job Analysis tool. Users are more engaged and like the SDS update feature. Using the print label function has made unidentified containers a thing of the past and engineers liked the additional QR code on the bottle linking to the Risk Assessment. It has helped us rationalise the number of substances we use and capture any new items with ease. Great price too!

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

It took some time to navigate around the software but the tutorials and help were easy to follow.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simply controlling SDS and keeping them up to date, making them management of substances easy to integrate into the working practices, raising awareness and making the employees feel safer that they have all the information they need to hand.

 ### 25. SDS manager is a great tool for the university

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmad K. | Research safety manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about SDS Manager?**

What I like best about being an SDS Manager is the direct impact on workplace safety by ensuring everyone has accurate chemical information. I also appreciate the challenge of staying updated with regulations and the opportunity to collaborate across different teams. It feels rewarding to contribute to a safer work environment every day.

**What do you dislike about SDS Manager?**

As a system, the tool is very simple, user friendly yet very effective. It is very easy to get adapted to and ensure compliance.

**What problems is SDS Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An SDS Manager solves the problem of managing accurate, up-to-date chemical safety information to ensure regulatory compliance and protect employees. This prevents accidents, legal issues, and operational disruptions. For me, this role brings peace of mind knowing I’m contributing to a safer workplace and helps develop valuable skills in risk management and regulatory affairs.
