Scripe was actually one of the better dedicated AI writing tools I’ve tried for LinkedIn.
The writing quality and the way the product is built around LinkedIn content felt much better than many of the other tools I’ve tested. I could see it being particularly useful for someone who wants one place for ideas, writing and managing their LinkedIn content.
For me personally, though, I’ve gradually moved away from AI chatbots built inside individual platforms. I prefer using ChatGPT or Claude directly and connecting them to the tools I use through MCP and other integrations.
My own ChatGPT and Claude setups already have much more context about my writing, previous work, preferences and what I’m working on. That context is difficult for a standalone writing tool to replicate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest issue was actually the trial and billing experience.
I used Scripe a few times during the trial and then stopped using it completely. I didn’t cancel before the trial ended, so I accept that part was my responsibility.
However, I was charged €99 and only noticed it later. When I checked my emails, the trial-ending notification had been sent on the first day of the trial rather than shortly before the trial converted into a paid subscription.
I asked Scripe whether they could make an exception because there had been no usage at all after the trial. Their refund policy also mentions that exceptional circumstances can be reviewed individually. I asked twice, but the team decided not to refund the payment under their policy.
So if you're trying Scripe, I would strongly recommend setting your own reminder to cancel before the trial ends if you're not sure you want to continue.
The product itself left a much better impression on me than the billing experience did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
