We received 25 million credits from Scraping Dog, under the agreement that they would help us download 100,000 LinkedIn profiles, both private and public. Manthan Koolwal was very responsive and cordial, but that ended once I paid for the service.

Once the payment was processed, we started scraping the profiles and ran into concurrency issues. Any profile that wasn't in Scraping Dog's database took up to 3-4 minutes to respond.

We sought technical support, but our calls were unanswered. I brought in the top engineer from my network, who leads engineering at Slice. He indicated that the returned 202 call is clearly Scraping Dog's responsibility, but their service wasn't returning the call.

Our list had fewer than 5% incorrect profiles, but they blamed everything on me. Manthan appeared indifferent to our problems. We tried to raise these issues but received no response. It's as though they're active on WhatsApp but won't reply.

I asked them to scrape the profile, but they neither did it nor responded to us about it.

I can't help but perceive this as a potential scam rather than the actions of a legitimate company that values customer service.
