There is nothing notable about this product except for its cost. I would recommend choosing other options instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall, my experience with the service has been rather unprofessional. I have encountered frequent API failures, and the reports generated are often lacking in detail. Furthermore, the customer service team has consistently been disappointing and unhelpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They are just a bunch of dishonest people trying to scam you with their practices. I'm sharing this frankly because I don't want others to experience the same. I feel compelled to share this experience on social media as a warning, not only for us but also for other founders who work tirelessly day and night. Thank you. We received 25 million credits from Scraping Dog, under the agreement that they would help us download 100,000 LinkedIn profiles, both private and public. Manthan Koolwal was very responsive and cordial, but that ended once I paid for the service.

Once the payment was processed, we started scraping the profiles and ran into concurrency issues. Any profile that wasn't in Scraping Dog's database took up to 3-4 minutes to respond.

We sought technical support, but our calls were unanswered. I brought in the top engineer from my network, who leads engineering at Slice. He indicated that the returned 202 call is clearly Scraping Dog's responsibility, but their service wasn't returning the call.

Our list had fewer than 5% incorrect profiles, but they blamed everything on me. Manthan appeared indifferent to our problems. We tried to raise these issues but received no response. It's as though they're active on WhatsApp but won't reply.

I asked them to scrape the profile, but they neither did it nor responded to us about it.

I can't help but perceive this as a potential scam rather than the actions of a legitimate company that values customer service. I feel compelled to share this experience on social media as a warning not only for us but also for other founders who work tirelessly day and night. Thank you. The ability to quickly and easily scrape data from websites is the best thing about ScrapingDog. It is very user-friendly and has many features that make it easy to scrape data. The customer service is also excellent and they are always willing to help with any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main thing I dislike about ScrapingDog API is that there is no clear documentation for non-developers. This makes it difficult to know how to get the most out of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about scraping dog is that it is very easy to use for all. Be it all the people who are technical as such as developers or the non-technical people it is usable by both. Which makes it one of my favourite tools in the market for web scraping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although there is a free version as soon as you change your requirements and try moving on to pro or standard they are very expensive for the work being done as compared to other similar products in the market like ParseHub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
