Product Description

SciCord is an Electronic Laboratory Notebook designed for Pharmaceutical Drug Development. The SciCord ELN is designed around the Spreadsheet Paradigm. This allows for the tool to be accepted quickly and for training to be minimal. Existing spreadsheets used within the lab can be transferred into the SciCord ELN.

What do you like best about SciCord?

The team was truly helpful in getting us set up with the system. We had some bumps along the way on our end due to a misunderstanding on what we needed from the system, but Nicholas and David were extremely patient and willing to work with us to figure out how to best implement SciCord in our lab. It's a great bridge between our inventory and our processes, which are constantly changing. SciCord is able to handle those changes and dynamic processes with ease since the launch. What do you dislike about SciCord?

The SciCord software can be slow and clunky, and looks quite outdated. Aesthetics aside, our every day users are content with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SciCord solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest problem was connecting the inventory in our warehouse to our experiments within the lab. Finding the source of the material that was used for a specific experiment was next to impossible, which made inventory audits quite difficult. SciCord has beautifully connected our experiments to our complex and dynamic inventory, as well as made it easy to perform the required inventory modifications and processes that our team requires. Another outcome since switching to SciCord is easier inventory handling and reporting. The automated reports make it easy to provide accounting with the details they require, tracking changes month-to-month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SciCord?

SciCord with an excel like interface has made recording experimental data user-friendly and quick. Template creation with its inbuilt APIs lets us extract all the necessary data in a very straightforward manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SciCord?

Something that could be improved by some error handling during the template development phase. Error handling for missing data or function though taken care of one the template is uploaded and used in a new document in the environment, a feature to do this online would make the process more streamlined.
