I really like that it keeps all my IT things together in one place. Before, I had to check different files, emails, and notes to find what I needed. Now, I just open this tool, and everything is right there. It tells me when a warranty or update is coming up, so I don’t miss anything important. ControlMap provides an easy-to-use platform which allowed our GRC team to completely revamp the way we approach policy, governance, vendors, and risk management in a single platform. Previously, we were utilizing a handful of disparate solutions to provide these functions within our GRC program. Now our Risk Management Program is housed in a single platform, allowing for easier administration, navigation, and linking of information between policy, control mapping, evidence gathering, and risk treatment. The SSO login experience if you're using both the MSP platform and a tenant for your organization does not function properly. For that reason, we needed to configure our GRC team as members of the MSP tenant as well as our organizational tenant in order to get them into the platform after working with support. The dashboard is easy to navigate. It offers over 50 framworks that cross-walk to each other. This saves a lot of time when having multiple compliance regulations regarding the questionaires. I like it has built in policy and procedure templates and a great documnet repository with approval process and version control. The Audit feature is nice for any self attestation or 3rd party audits like SOC2 or CMMC. They are always adding more features recommended by their customers if they fit. ControlMap is easy to use and simple. There is not too much ceremony needed to get the job done. When I first used it, I wasn't exactly sure what needed to be done, but once I became familiar it became quite easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software is a bit slow. This is frustrating when going through and reading and acknowledging a long list of documents, becuase you have to run into the slowness many times. The auth flow is a bit weird. It seems that it does not support integrating with Okta so we cannot use our normal SSO. Additionally, when logging in with Google, it redirects you many times and shows tiny text on the screen saying (you are about to be redirected) a few times which all seems somewhat unnecessary and unprofessional. I woud like to see more integrations in place with differnet toolsets that will help collect information. That can be so time consuming so anything to improve that (which i know is a focus for them) will help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their audits tab is a standout feature, offering the capability to create an audit user. This user can access only the information inputted into the tab, ensuring confidentiality and streamlined auditing processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
