Even when placed in an unstable network environment, the H3 system remains resilient. We have never experienced data corruption or data loss, which gives us immense peace of mind. Zero-Downtime System Updates The update architecture is brilliantly thought out. Almost all system updates can be applied during active production hours without affecting end users. While a rolling update might take 30 to 90 minutes per node in the cluster, the cluster handles it seamlessly without a single hiccup. Eliminating the need to schedule after-hours downtime is a massive win for our team's quality of life. World-Class, "One-Touch" Support I cannot speak highly enough of the Scale Computing support team. Their responses are not just incredibly fast, but perfectly accurate. I have almost never needed more than one single reply from support to get an issue permanently resolved. In the IT space, that level of efficiency is rare and incredibly valuable. Built-In, Layered Disaster Recovery The disaster recovery capabilities are robust and highly intuitive. By setting up automated snapshot replication from the production cluster to our DR node, we are always in a position to keep our most critical VMs highly available. Setting up new servers and adding tags to them is very straightforward, and I can keep them organized easily. The ability to clone servers is a feature I really like, as it allows me to test without affecting the production server. Cloning and restoring are fast processes, so there's minimal downtime. I also find the automated node updates highly efficient, with VMs transferring between nodes seamlessly for updates, unlike the manual process in VMware. The initial setup was extremely easy, with the technicians providing excellent support to get the Scale nodes ready. Moving the virtual servers from VMware was extremely easy to do with Scale's software. It was a fast process and there wasn't much setup after it was completed. I was able to turn the old server off and the new one on in the middle of the production day. **What do you dislike about SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite?** Sometimes the servers show the disk as almost being full, but when you go into the OS, it has plenty of room. I think this is because of the way it stores certain files. I'd like to see a better way of handling that. The dashboard cards are big. Customer support is very knowledgeable and is there to walk you through the setup step by step. The (rarely needed) support I've received through the years is by far the best I've experienced in the industry. Our company uses Scale clusters on a daily basis for our entire computing environment, and we rarely have problems or need support. The adjustable performance helps meet the needs of different types of servers and users. **What do you dislike about SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite?** I would like to have the option to continue software support on "outdated" or end of life products. I can source hard drives to replace if they fail, so it would be nice to have an extended software support option to extend the life of products to use as a DR failover, or archive servers. **What problems is SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's an affordable and simple solution for our company. We are a smaller business with a relatively small IT budget, and I'm the only full time IT person on staff. Scale cuts down on time required to deploy and manage servers and desktops. I particularly value the features like the 3 node cluster, the competitive pricing, and the general ease of use. The installation process of the nodes was very simple and their ability to configure the backend of each server was easy to use to ensure that we were able to meet all of our compliance needs. Since we are able to customize the node for our business needs, we were able to ensure that each server has the proper storage and performance requirements that could handle the day-to-day business needs. **What do you dislike about SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite?** Based on the use case of how we are using Scale, we have not run to any issues that would cause us to dislike the suite. We implemented a 3-node cluster and have over 12 VMs running between the 3 of them. Pushing updates to the nodes is incredibly easy as it handles moving the VMs from one node to another with extreme ease. The peace of mind knowing that if a node were to unfortunately drop, the other 2 will just pick up the slack is worth the investment. **What do you dislike about SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite?** The only thing I have disliked thus far about HyperCore is the upfront cost. It was a bit high whenever we went to purchase it. However, I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for. They are a serious alternative to VMware at times where those subscription fees skyrocketed. They also have a good and responsive support team and release frequent updates to their system. **What do you dislike about SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite?** Even though servers are easy to manage, I think that the management interface could be more intuitive. That has all the basic functions, but sometimes I miss a better layout. **What problems is SC// HyperCore Virtualization Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I believe that it solves many problems we had in the past. The solution we have is a 3-node cluster, so just because of this, that gives us high-availability, which means that if one server goes down, everything keeps working. The management interface allows us to create VMs in the cluster and distributes the VMs among the nodes. The system also allows us to add more nodes to the local cluster as well as add remote nodes and enable data replication. Updating Scale system is very easy and it updates one server at a time, not requiring any downtime. ### 10.
