### Comment 1

HC3 is the principal product offering of Scale Computing. It is a Hyper-Converged system comprised of nodes which are themselves individual server platforms. The hypervisor architecture pools the CPU, memory and disk resources of the nodes to dynamically allocate them among running VMs. Adding nodes increases the pool of resources thus providing scalability.

### Comment 2

“HC3” is a term previously used to describe Scale Computing's 3-Tier Hyperconverged Infrastructure offering. As of May 2022, we relaunched the former HC3 product as Scale Computing Platform, which includes Scale Computing HyperCore (the underlying software), hardware appliances, and the new Scale Computing Fleet Manager (cloud-based management tool) as an all-in-one hyperconverged infrastructure.
