They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about SAS Visual Forecasting?** It is super easy to use and the ability to generate data and output it directly in VIYA is a major win. **What do you dislike about SAS Visual Forecasting?** So far everything is great, only downfall for us is we are not on VIYA 4 yet. **What problems is SAS Visual Forecasting solving and how is that benefiting you?** You built our first company-wide forecast with Visual Forecasting this year and we were able to build it at such a granular level which provided us with much more accurate results. In our first test SAS Forecasting missed our actual results by only .08%. ### 3. One for example, the ability to only put in 2 overrides where the data picks it up as FF and FF2. Built-in seasonality UI, including international calendar (though not all country was covered). Ability to select various forecasting models. There is macroeconomy feature with additional license. **What do you dislike about SAS Visual Forecasting?** The forecast accuracy result of just using the visual interface is considered as standard in the market. In the end for serious demand forecast use cast that needs more accuracy, it will need specialized and deep understanding how the formula works, and go deeper into coding to improve the result. **What problems is SAS Visual Forecasting solving and how is that benefiting you?** Create simple time series forecast is just few clicks away. I have checked many of the things that I've been given in chart/graph form and there have been zero errors. Not only is the platform "smart", but it's intuitive and very user friendly! Set up is quick and easy, integration was flawless. Customer service is top-notch! Smart imputation of missing values (using prediction). Sas Model Studio creates a good pipeline, where you have a good overview and it is flexible to do tailor-made stuff (like deep learning or implementing open source). I always follow a dataops/modelops approach and I can do that easily with Sas Visual Forecasting. I have control of the whole analytical lifecycle. It is easy to show the results of the forecasting in reports (Sas Visual Analytics). It is scalable. We are able to produce millions of forecast models each day, Sas Viya Cas engine can handle that easily. Good documentation. **What do you dislike about SAS Visual Forecasting?** There is not so much community/knowledge available about Sas Visual Forecasting as in open source. Not so many examples available for implementing open source in Sas Visual Forecasting. **What problems is SAS Visual Forecasting solving and how is that benefiting you?** How many staff do we need in Customer Care tomorrow or in some hours? Customer has a good customer experience, less waiting time. Mobile capacity planning. Which base stations will reach their capacity within a month? Now we have time to set up a team for implementing new cells and order new equipment. Energy saving. Which cell/base station can we shut down at night, without having a bad customer experience (speed test, slow internet, drop calls)? Energy costs are the biggest cost center of Telcos. With this solution, procurement can buy in better. ### 11. Very easy to compare different models and pick the champion model. I use it in my classroom teaching, and students really like it. Makes it easier for your audience to understand what point you are making and what you are really trying to highlight. By using this software, we would take FAQ when it came to showing spikes in the budget, it allowed us to use this software to show where the real effects were coming in. **What do you dislike about SAS Visual Forecasting?** The more you use this software the easier it is to navigate, sometimes you can mess up easily. it's best to take notes or use "steps recorder" Sometimes I would forget to remove certain information, and going back and such. At first when I used the software, I notice that I would get lost when trying to filter information.
