My teams at American Express relies heavily on the tools graphical user interface for all our modelling needs. **What do you dislike about SAS/OR?** The only thing I might dislike about SAS/OR which can be introduced for the tool is easy customer support on hard to crack modelling questions. Some back-hand support from the SAS/OR team would be great **What problems is SAS/OR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our team at American Express is currently looking at the NPV values of our customers and we use SAS/OR to model out the probabilities of customer card usage through graphical means along with their average values. ### 6. Overall, it's very easy to use. **What do you dislike about SAS/OR?** The major issue of SAS is it's huge price tag. Then, it's user interface is not that much visually appealing for me. It works in closed environment. Also it's quite costly to get a licensed version of the software. I also like that the SAS platform can be used by a huge plethora for any type of business analytics! **What do you dislike about SAS/OR?** Since it uses a server, it can be slow sometimes. Since I had gotten the SAS software from my company, I could use the licensed version. However the cost is one of its major drawbacks! Very expensive! It comes as a suite so you would have to purchase the whole suite. There is no license for using just one function to use via SAS. **Recommendations to others considering SAS/OR:** If you need restful services for your IT departments, SAS can provide it! **What problems is SAS/OR solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been using SAS for data analytics at my work. It is really expensive and rather difficult to use.
