It is a great soft ware to manipulate your data, especially for working with large datasets or claims data which requires a lot of transformation and retransformation. It borrows and allows procedures from other languages like SQL which makes it easier to work with. It runs faster than many other programs like R and STATA. The ETS and other packages are great for carrying out specific task like ETS time series modelling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The survey procedure is not adequate. They could adapt a lot from stata. Where performing final analysis is much easier than SAS. Another big problem with this program is that it does not allow user written procedures or packages which other programs like R or STATA do.
