However, the pricing is little on higher side. Initially due to complexity, there is a chance to have difficulty in understanding the troubleshooting and debugging of messages in transmission. Also, we can use various SAP Cloud services to meet the business requirements. Services like OData services, HANA services, API management, Trusts, SAP Cloud Platform integration, workflow integration make our life much easier and developers or administrators need not bother about infrastructure requirements. While I was working in IBM, we have worked on end to end integration of SAP ECC with ATO (Australian Taxation Office) non-SAP system using the SAP integration suite. Earlier the functional or end users used to send the data related to Payroll exemption and deduction manually by running functional transactions. But after using SAP integration suite, it has been automated to send the taxation exemption and deduction data directly to Australian taxation office. I appreciate the prebuilt integration content and intuitive tools, which have notably accelerated our project delivery timelines. Its API Management features provide governance and visibility across all services, which is essential for our operations. Moreover, the real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities have enhanced our operational reliability and cut down troubleshooting efforts. Simple tasks often require too many clicks, making the user experience somewhat cumbersome. The monitoring features can be clunky, and updates sometimes cause issues, such as adapters or mapping steps throwing unexpected errors even though nothing changed on our end. While the platform is functional, it could be smoother and less frustrating to use. Furthermore, the initial setup involved considerable effort and coordination across IT, basis, and security teams due to extensive configuration requirements, especially concerning connectivity and security, indicating that it's not entirely user-friendly from the start.
