"Reliable Data Recovery but Needs Error Clarity"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

I really like Salesforce Backup & Recover because it makes sure my data is always available. When incidents like accidental deletions happen, I feel safe knowing that my data is backed up and can be recovered. It's very valuable for maintaining data within my firm. The initial setup was super easy; you just connect it to the organization and start doing your backups. I think it's great that there are alerts and information, which adds to its usefulness. What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

I think understanding why certain recoveries don't work is a bit challenging. The errors that are reported aren't very clear, and then you have to reach out to support. It would be helpful to effectively know the most common errors that happen and how to resolve them without having to contact support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Salesforce Backup & Recover with Convenient Text File Search"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

The Salesforce backup & recover product is very intuitive and easy to use. On many occasions, I’ve been able to pull up the text file and locate information that was inadvertently deleted or overwritten, without having to do a full restore. I also find those text files very convenient when I need to search for keywords in my org. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

There’s not much to dislike about the Salesforce backup & recovery product. If I had any complaint, it would be that restoring small pieces of data can be difficult. Many times, I find it more efficient to review the backups and restore the missing data myself rather than using the system, because I don’t want to overwrite any data that’s been added since the issue occurred. "Essential Protection That Should Be Easier to Afford"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

What I like best is the peace of mind of having backup and recovery built specifically for Salesforce. It provides an additional layer of protection for critical business data and metadata and gives organizations a clearer path to recover when something goes wrong, whether from user error, an integration, or an unexpected data issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

The biggest drawback is the cost for something that many customers assume should be a core part of the Salesforce platform. Backup and recovery is fundamental to protecting critical business data, so having it as an additional product can be difficult to justify, particularly for smaller nonprofits and associations with limited budgets. "Strong Backup & Audit Visibility, but Unarchiving Emails Is Still Too Convoluted"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

On the backup side of things, I’d say you can set up smart alerts to monitor any data issues. We also have the ability to restore or recover from the source if something goes wrong. Being able to handle corrupted or lost data is really important, because we need to maintain a paper trail for the processes we run in Salesforce. Lastly, we have very strict retention policies at our company, and this gives us clear visibility when audit questions come up and we need answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

So not as much on the back upside or recovery, but we use the archive feature as well, and we have heard that there are issues that are limitations of the platform from Salesforce and it is really around. Email on archive on archival will fail in certain scenarios, I would say that overtime we’ve seen that this has been reduced, but we find ourselves as admin having to tell our users that they have to go through a very convoluted practice or procedure of on archiving that leads to additional steps they have to take potential to you know accidentally mess up the data in salesforce from the carving process and then having having them have to reach out to us to go in manually do things when this should be something that our user should be able to do without any trouble again this is Ben confirmed this is Unknown platform limitation and a workaround to delete draft emails and retry. The unarchive is not great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and Quick recovery tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

I like that Salesforce Backup & Recover provides an easy and reliable way to protect critical Salesforce data and recover it when needed. The automated backups and simple recovery process give me confidence that important data can be restored quickly if something goes wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

The main area for improvement is greater flexibility and customization in the backup and recovery options. It would also be helpful to have more detailed, in-Salesforce visibility into backup status, available recovery points, and any potential issues, so it’s easier to monitor everything without leaving Salesforce. "Reliable Data Recovery with Excellent Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

I like the reports, alerts of data updates, and version control of data archived in Salesforce Backup & Recover. It's really helpful that I don't need to monitor what is happening in the system regularly, as it provides all the information needed to secure the data. I also find the setup easy, with a lot of support from the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

I find the sandbox data seeding and recovery of data with hierarchical relationships to be a bit problematic. It doesn't seem to handle those aspects as smoothly as I would like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Salesforce Backups and Easy Restores, but Querying and Retention Flexibility Lag"
3/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

Automated scheduled backups directly integrated within the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring seamless data protection without leaving the platform. Easy restore options for object-level and record-level data recovery when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

Limited querying/search capabilities on the backed-up data itself. Unlike third-party data lake or backup solutions, you cannot easily query historical backup snapshots (e.g., via SOQL or direct SQL) to inspect historical data states without restoring them first. Customization options for backup policies and complex retention schemes could be more flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind for Salesforce Backups and Fast Recovery"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

The biggest benefit for me is the peace of mind of knowing our Salesforce data can be backed up and recovered quickly if something goes wrong. It lowers the risk of data loss and makes the recovery process much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

Setup and configuration can take a while, and the overall experience isn’t as intuitive as it could be. I’d also like more flexibility, along with simpler, more straightforward options for managing backups and recovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Automated Salesforce Data Backup with Seamless Recovery"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

Salesforce Backup & Recover provides reliable, automated data protection with straightforward recovery when it’s needed. I especially like how seamlessly it integrates with Salesforce, along with its intuitive interface and its ability to safeguard critical business data. Overall, it helps reduce the risk of data loss, makes the recovery process simpler, and gives teams confidence that their Salesforce data is secure, protected, and available whenever they need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Backup & Recover?

The setup and configuration can feel complex for new users. Some of the more advanced features take additional time to learn, and the pricing may be high for smaller organizations. Improving the reporting, adding more customization options, and simplifying recovery workflows would help enhance the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
