S3 Drive Media

Connecting a drive to a remote S3 provider is the primary function of the product and is designed to be simple. The following basic steps are all that's needed to mount a drive. From the Drives tab of the main window, click New... to open the Edit Drive dialog.

On the Edit Drive dialog input a local drive name and S3 provider information. Click Test S3 Connection to verify the connection to the S3 provider, then press OK to save the new drive configuration.

Press Start on the main window to connect all the enabled drives. The drive should now be visible in Explorer and available to access by any application on the machine.

What do you like best about S3 Drive?

What problems is S3 Drive solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an Amazon seller, we have large amounts of images when you need to create new products; Amazon requests you use an AWS S3 storage, which offers the best and fastest processing.

With S3 drive this makes handling this data a breeze, and no need for complex setups or file uploading processes, it just maps your system with another drive letter.

My applications generate lots of reports that are exported to PDFs files

to what seems to be a local drive, but in reality, these files are being

uploaded transparently to my S3 bucket (thanks to S3 Drive) to make them available to users based

As its full form says simple storage service, It is exactly the same as its name it is the cloud storage that we can access anywhere by using the credentials of drive, we can fetch data very easily and quickly. It can store huge amount of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about S3 Drive?

Sometimes it shows bit of lag as it is accessed by the internet. Otherwise, there are no cons as such. I will highly recommend using S3 buckets to store data as it is very easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
