RSA Archer met my team's needs for building out a Vendor Risk Management program, allowing full control and build out of our customized workflows for all SMEs and stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although the platform allowed for customization and met our team's needs, it was very nuanced to create the custom dashboards + necessary approval workflows and required multiple resources on our end including hiring a full-time dedicated Archer RSA expert on our team, who dually worked as the primary admin, and contracting with multiple consulting firms for many years to assist in the build out. Not so user friendly. Certain customization has to be made in order for it to be useful and understandable. Also, sometimes it would not work on IE even though it states that the most compatible Internet Browser to be used is IE. I have to jump among IE, Chrome, and Firefox sometimes in order to make certain function works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Archer to manage vendor relationships, vendor contacts, vendor contracts, risk/policy exceptions, and various other vendor risk uses. It is used enterprise-wide and is a key part of doing any work with a third party. We have used different versions of RSA Archer over the years and the team is trying to get the application to the most current platform/release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Archer is a very useful system to track and house audit results. We use it mainly at the conclusion of an audit to upload all our files, and send items through a workflow for review and approval. It is very customizable - we have frequently requested changes be made to the interface and they have been completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because it is so customizable, initially it can feel "clunky" and difficult to navigate, but through customizing, it becomes much more user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The querying and reporting capabilities are excellent, and the interconnections of all of the applications and modules really helped to bring data together that used to be a very manual and error-prone process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Getting the data into the system can be tedious, as there are a lot of required fields. Often, work is lost due to user error or the occasional system error.
