## Rooster Scheduling Reviews
 ### 1. We could not survive without Rooster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie W. | Sr Manager Global Talent Acquisition, Operations & Analytics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster is not only a necessary integration to have if you use Workday Recruiting, but is also an amazing scheduling tool period. The Autobook feature and Roosterlinks makes it so easy to schedule with candidates and LinkedIn prospects and has cut the time I spend scheduling by more than 50%. The automated notifications, follow ups, reminders, etc. are amazing for the candidate and interviewer experience. I love how versatile the system is and how you still have the ability to "manual" schedule if needed too. I work at a very complex, global organization and Rooster has been able to accommodate nearly all of our needs.

I would also like to thank Shannon Chipman, Cian Crawford, Hannah Packer, and Nate Borsella for their amazing support during our implementation process. This was by far the best implementation experience and support I have ever had for any system. And the ongoing support from Cian and Lukas for any of our issues, questions, etc. is always super fast and extremely helpful. We rarely have any issues with Rooster but when we do they are always resolved within minutes.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

For manual scheduling - I wish the timezone would automatically match the candidate's timezone. Right now it defaults to the job requisition location timezone, and for a global company like ours where we have jobs open in multiple different locations, this makes things a little more complicated. And also leaves a lot of room for error and confusion. Also for the confirmation emails I wish the timezones would also match the timezone of the person receiving the message. Right now when an interview is scheduled (whether it is Autobook or Manual), the confirmation email will send the interview date/time in whatever timezone the candidate/Recruiter selected. But we often times have candidates and interviewers that are located in different countries/timezones, so it would be amazing if this was able to sync and match the timezones for the interviewers that are saved in the system.

I also wish the scorecard link would bring the interviewer directly to the scorecard itself in Workday. Right now it just brings the interviewer to their Workday inbox (which is also nice at least) and I have noticed that this has caused interviewers to input their feedback in the wrong scorecard. So having this link be more direct to the actual scorecard in Workday would leave no room for error.

Custom reporting is a bit of a pain right now. Having to sort through all of those available fields is a bit tedious. I feel like there could be a better way to organize and maybe have the available fields in different categories to make it at least easier to locate and then select the different fields/columns you are trying to add to the report.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time to schedule - makes scheduling over 50% faster than it was without Rooster.
Lack of scheduling in Workday - Rooster makes it possible to schedule/track interviews in Workday

 ### 2. Best schedule informer and performance data base provider

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Myrel M. | Customer Service, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

It is giving as a real time access of our weekly schedule and daily performance.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Maybe sometimes performance data is not accurate and also schedules are not showing however that happens only sometimes. Most of the time is is really helpful.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It resolves question about your scheduled meal breaks, short breaks and up coming leaves. Also provides a real time updates about our performance when needed.

 ### 3. Breeze of a system and even better customer service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten G. | Senior Recruiting Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

All the scheduling capabilities - personalization, attachments, signatures, timezones, the list goes on.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

After scheduling a candidate with the interviewers there is a 2nd step of pressing send for it to go to the candidate. The purpose for it makes sense to verify the interviewers confirm that availability first. This is just the only thing I can think of as a 'dislike'. Not too difficult would just be easier if sent automatically with the original scheduling step.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Current HCM/ATS does not provide a scheduling ability. Rooster is our savior!

 ### 4. Rooster has transformed our interview scheduling experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel S. | Manager of Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Since implementing Rooster, the time it takes us to schedule a single candidate with a panel interview has decreased from about 10 minutes to roughly 3.5 minutes. The time we've gained back has allowed my team to spend more time meeting candidates' and hiring managers' needs. We've also been able to get interviews scheduled sooner than we were able to previously, which we anticipate will help us reduce time to fill and ultimately reach hiring decisions more quickly. We've also enjoyed how easy it is to customize our templates, and make adjustments to our process immediately based on feedback, rather than working through more lengthy configuration and testing within Workday.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

The one problem we wish Rooster could solve for us is creating/finding shared availability among our interviewers. If Rooster could incorporate a feature like the FindTime plug in in Outlook, that would be the icing on the cake.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Rooster eliminated the use of manual documents and record keeping regarding interview teams and scheduling instructions, allows us to actually track interview volume and rescheduling frequency, and eliminates the need to re-type a bunch of information outside of Workday into Outlook. We are so happy to have so much time back to spend on higher value work!

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Rachel. for this glowing review! We're thrilled to hear that your team is enjoying using the product and that the time they are saving is being utilized more efficiently in improving your candidates' and interviewers' experience. The feature on your wish list is what we're calling Suggested Times and it's very much on our roadmap, aiming to release it in the second half of 2023. We're very excited to see what your data looks like after a few months of using Rooster, especially your time-to-fill rates, as we love to brag about our clients' accomplishments. Thanks again for taking the time to write this review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 5. Great Time-Saving Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheeba S. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster saves me a lot of time as a recruiter, and it is so nice to have candidates schedule themselves! Since starting to use Rooster, I've saved a lot of time going back and fourth with candidates to set up interviews.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

I would like Rooster to allow me to customize when candidates can set up interviews a bit more (less than 24-hour notice, only selecting a few days a time rather than 1, 2, or 3 weeks). I appreciate that the Rooster team takes time to improve their product quickly, and they have already rolled out several updates.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rooster allows me to focus more on my phone screens rather than spending extra time finding time to connect with candidates. Rooster also sends regular reminders to both my interviewers and interviewees, which is super helpful!

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Sheeba, for your positive review of Rooster. We're so glad to hear that Rooster is saving you time scheduling so you can focus on the more important aspects of connecting with candidates. Client feedback is very important to us, that is how we build out and prioritize our roadmap. You can in fact schedule interviews with candidates in less than 24 hours (you need to update the interviewer's preferences to reflect that) and while you can't select individuals days in the autobook per say, you can click and drag across 1-4 days (if you want it less than a week). Your CSM will reach out to you to discuss these points further. Thank you again for taking the time to write this review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 6. My experience has been good, very efficient most of the times.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabiola O. | Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

I like is very adaptable. You can use it with many recruiters and interviewers, you can see everyone's agendas in different time zones, you can cover to some of your colleagues and is connected to other systems.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Sometimes it lags, or has some errors when you try to see other´s schedulers candidates, and also the feedback scorecard haven´t work lately so is more difficult to send it to interviewers.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes more easier to schedule interviews, to see all the involved people´s agenda´s and schedule in different time zones, also make changes if something happens. It also helps to send the invite to candidate´s, ask for availability and send a quick meeting booking.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Fabiola, for taking the time to write this balanced review of Rooster. We love that you're using the tool for collaboration, as well as scheduling your own interviews. Juggling time zones can certainly be a pain point so we're glad Rooster is making scheduling easier from that aspect. Lags can happen if a server is still warming up or is sifting through a particularly large amount of data, we are however completely reconfiguring the main dashboard so you should have a much faster experience starting the end of December. We haven't received any complaints of feedback questionnaires not triggering, can you please enter a Zendesk ticket or contact Rooster support with more details regarding this issue. We take these types of errors very seriously and investigate right away once an issue has been identified. Thank you again for writing this review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 7. Using and partnering with Rooster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary S. | Talent Acquisition partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster gives back the time in scheduling, and I can use that time to do other tasks I need to do. Rooster can assist me in scheduling multiple applicants and meetings required.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Urgent meetings cannot be scheduled within the 24 hours window. It can only be done for the 48 hours window. Also, applicants will be able to change meetings multiple times even when they've attended the previous meeting.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time to spend on scheduling applicants. Rooster can assist me with minimum energy and time to schedule my meetings.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Gary, for taking the time to review Rooster. We're gratified to hear that the tool is giving you and your team a lot of time back, especially on some of those higher volume job reqs. You can in fact schedule candidates within 24 hours by updating the "Restrict Schedule Before" setting in the Interviewer Preferences --> Advanced Preferences. You can bring that 24 hour down to as low as 1 hour if you wanted to. You can find more information on our support site or reach out to your CSM for a walk-through. Thank you again for your review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 8. Thomson Reuters

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blair P. | Sr Talent Acquisition Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

I enjoyed the ease of scheduling interviews and the automation behind it. It's really helpful to be able to customize meetings invites and also have standardized templates

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Having to change standardized templates for different situations and having to reschedule meetings. It's generally easier to do it manually althought Rooster has made good improvements on this front

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integration with workday has been tremendously helpful. It's saved me a lot of time scheduling meetings and has pretty much been flawless. It's a much more efficient tool then calendify

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Blair, for taking the time to review Rooster. We're happy to hear that the tool is easy to use and that you're finding the templates and automation helpful in your scheduling. If you find yourself constantly changing a template, we always recommend creating your own. They could be just yours (so duplicating a template you often tweak, make it your own, and save it) but if other team members see value in it you could also "share" a template. I know it's tempting to reschedule outside of Rooster (Outlook can be faster) but I commend you for doing it the proper way, this way all the accurate/most up-to-date information is written back to Workday. Thank you again for your review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 9. Huge time saver - must use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster saves me so much time every day. I used to have to go back and forth with candidates to settle on a date/time for their interview with a Recruiter but now, it only takes a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

There isn't much to dislike at all! The only thing I'd like to see improved is the time it takes to reload the main page. Sometimes it takes several seconds to load correctly with the most current updates.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of the number of applicants, it used to take several hours every day to make first contact with them. Now, with the push of a button, I can contact tens of candidates in only seconds and ask them for their availability for an interview.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to review Rooster. We love hearing how you're mass actioning availability requests and that Rooster is saving you time and has cut down on the tedious back and forth communications. The good news is that we're overhauling the main dashboard in our next major release coming out this Dec and the loading time, as well as the user experience will be so much better. Thank you again for the glowing review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 10. We are only 2 weeks post go-live, but great experience thus far!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie T. | Senior Corporate Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Responsiveness and support for questions.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Sometimes it was a bit unclear who my point of contact was for what type of questions. However, CC'ing in the whole group, the correct person always responded back quickly.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease for candidates and our talent acquisition coordinators (less manual work on both ends)

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Stephanie, for taking the time to review Rooster. We pride ourselves on our customer service and support, and we're so glad that you're appreciating that. Entering Zendesk tickets is the best way to "cc" the entire team, other than that please feel free to reach out to your CSM whenever you have any questions. There's no such thing as asking too many questions :) we're very happy to hear that Rooster is cutting down on the manual work for your coordinators and improving the candidate experience. Thank you again for taking the time to write this glowing review, and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 11. Fast & Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster allows our Recruiting Team to schedule interviews in a convenient and timely fashion. We save tons of time by using Software.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Ideally, it would be nice to be able to edit previously scheduled interviews; day/time , more easily.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time: Rooster saves us so much time by matching up our managers schedules with our candidates' schedules.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Kevin, for taking the time to write this review. We're thrilled to hear that Rooster is saving your team so much time and that it's convenient to use. We love when clients give us feedback, being so close to the product we don't always see the small things, so if you have any suggestions on how to simplify the rescheduling process please feel free to share them directly with your CSM or on our brainstorm site. Thank you again for your glowing review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 12. Fairly customizable for most of our needs.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica M. | Talent Operations Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

The ability for detailed invite format options; auto-pull in Job Descriptions, Resume's , Attachments etc. Separate candidate and interviewer invites sent which makes it easier to add specifics per role I'm scheduling for.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster is, unfortunately, unable to schedule across multiple days. This requires interviews to be designed as two separate events, leading to candidate confusion to numerous emails or invites. Would prefer an option to send one invite or email with a consolidated list of details for the candidate.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Jessica, for you honest review of Rooster. Templatized communications with attachments are certainly a big time saver and we're glad that you enjoy using them. Multi-day scheduling is currently our #1 most asked-for feature and is in fact in development right now. Due to the complexity of this feature it's taken longer than we originally scoped, but I can confirm it will be released by Q1 2023. I know the current process of creating separate invitations is not ideal so we do thank you for your patience. Thanks again for taking the time to write this review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 13. Consistent Product with Great Costumer Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

The ease of scheduling. Love that emails are automatically sent out to candidates and interviewers as reminders or if anything was adjusted with the interview. Also the ease of rescheduling and cancelling interviews.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Not being able to schedule for more than one day at one time. Also would love to be able to pick specific days for interview slots when candidates are giving availability (ex. cannot choose Thanksgiving as an available time).

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rooster is solving the problem of candidate/interviewer/recruiter miscommunication. It is simple to send emails to all parties, and as long as calendars are kept up to date, it makes scheduling incredibly easy.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Rooster. We're gratified to hear that you enjoy the ease of communications, especially when reschedules and cancellations occur. Multi-day scheduling is in development right now, expected to be released in Q1 2023. We do have plans for the candidate's availability screen, but this specific ask hasn't come up. We'd greatly appreciate it if you entered a brainstorm for this, that way we can ensure it's one of the requirements we cover when we get to this enhancement. Thank you again for writing this well-rounded review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 14. Such a time saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor G. | HR Site Generalist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

The amount of time that was saved by the implementation of this tool has been invaluable. It helped us streamline our process with ease of use and great system compatability. From both a recruiting and a candidate interface, this software is easy to use and straightforward. The Rooster team and their customer support are friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues that we have had. I Would highly recommend this product to anyone not just based on the software, but the team that comes with it as well.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

The only dislike that I would have is the ability of managers to adjust their schedules. When we have off-shift managers with special schedules, the only way to accommodate this would be by having them block out their outlook calendar. Having an individual vs a blanket approach would be nice.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time and efficiency have completely been transformed by using this product. The functionality is spot on so I never have to question whether it's working or not. If something isn't working, it's usually on our end, not the Rooster's end.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Taylor, for taking the time to write this flattering yet well-rounded review. It's gratifying to hear that Rooster has helped streamline your scheduling process and that you find our product intuitive and easy to use. You and your team have been a pleasure to work with both during implementation and since your go-live. Your pain point makes complete sense, which is why we're currently developing our interviewer preferences feature (v1.6.0). This will capture and display interviewers' working hours from their calendars, but they can also set them themselves. If there are any other features you'd like us to develop sooner rather than later, I encourage you to search for it on our brainstorm site (chances are someone else entered it) and upvote it. Thank you again for your review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 15. Talent Coordination Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaydee S. | Talent Coordination Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

It pulls the calendar and updates the communications.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

The time it takes to load. When editing a communications the formatting is very touchy.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling interviews and communication with candidates via email.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Kaydee, for taking the time to review Rooster. Consistent and up-to-date communications is certainly paramount when scheduling interviews and we're happy that Rooster is helping you with that. Your dashboard is currently set to load 200 rows which might be why it's taking a while. We suggest capping the dashboard view to 20 or 50 rows to speed things along. Thanks you again for reviewing Rooster and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 16. Rooster feedback

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Osvaldo G. | Tallent Acquisition Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

have the data and the software in a same place to set the calls

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

the issues and crashes appear frequently and make us feel stressed

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the auto schedule

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Osvaldo, for taking the time to review Rooster. Having all the scheduling data and templates centralized is certainly one of the main advantages of Rooster and we're so glad that you're benefiting from our autobook (candidate self-scheduling) feature. The crash you're referring to was when Google’s Cloud Firestore database went down for approximately 40 mins. Unfortunately, we are dependent on external servers and databases and if those crash Rooster won't work properly. These incidents are very rare and we do our best to communicate external issues as soon as they're identified. Of course it can be frustrating and stressful for our users, so we do thank you for your patience. Thank you again for your review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 17. Rooster is the bee's knees!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rylie F. | Recruiting Operations Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster has been an incredible addition to the tools we use as a Talent Acquisition team! Before Rooster our team was unable to track metrics on how long it was taking our Talent Coordinators to schedule interviews, and how many they were scheduling or rescheduling. Having these metrics has allowed us to better reward top preformers, and to make sure that the workload is evenly distributed amongst the coordinators. We have loved the automation features with getting availability from candidates, self scheduling, sending remindnes to the candidates and/or interviewers, and so much more!

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

There is nothing that our team dislikes! Rooster has always been very open to our suggestions for improvements or product features for future rollouts, and they actively monitor their brainstorms page.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You always have excellent feature requests, and you and your team are a pleasure to work with. We love that you utilize all the features we offer like reminders, automation, analytics, and candidate self-scheduling. We do enjoy bragging about you and what a success story you are, and we look forward to continue this wonderful partnership. Thank you again and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 18. Easy to use! Love the interface with Workday!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

The Workday interface is a time saver. I love how easy it is to schedule interviews.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

There seems to be a glitch where completed or canceled interviews don't automatically archive.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves entering interviews twice like our old scheduling app did.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Rooster. We're always thrilled to hear that Rooster is saving users so much time, preventing double-entry, and that it's easy to use. Completed/canceled interview don't automatically get archived. We archive job apps when they're moved into certain stages in Workday such as rejected, hired or declined. Auto-archiving based on the interview status would be a feature request, which I highly encourage you to enter on our brainstorm site (as it certainly has merit). Thank you again for your very positive review of Rooster and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 19. Scheduling made easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

It saves a lot of time for myself as a recruiter and the back and forth that goes into the process.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

It automatically puts them on my schedule but not sure if that is something I can turn off

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Ryan, for taking the time to review Rooster. It's great to hear that Rooster is saving you so much time and has cut down on the tedious back and forth communications. As a scheduler all interviews you schedule go on your calendar but are marked as free, interestingly it's one of our more popular features. You can always delete them from your calendar if you don't require that extra visibility. Thank you again for your review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 20. Rooster helped me automate my scheduling tremendously!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey S. | Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

It's Very efficient and easy to use! great support!

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Sometimes the system went down and we had to revert back to our old process of scheduling.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

efficiency. SO may steps in our process of recruiting so this helped us tremendously!

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Jeffrey, for your very positive review of Rooster. We're thrilled to hear that you find the tool efficient and easy to use. We pride ourselves on our customer support and we're always quick to resolve any issues that are identified. While Rooster itself has no downtime, external factors such as cloud-based server errors do impact us and we're sorry to hear that it disrupted your scheduling experience. We've added in quite a bit of code to work around server slowness to ensure a better user experience and hopefully you shouldn't experience that issue again. Thank you again for taking the time to write this review and Happy Scheduling!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garima K. | Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

The ease of scheduling and coordinate. I am using it for 2 years almost

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

The number of confirmations we receive after scheduling the interview or meeting

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a recruiter its helpful in scheduling the interviews with candidates

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Garima, for taking the time to review Rooster. As an early adopter of Rooster it's gratifying to hear that you find the tool easy and useful. It's true that as a scheduler you tend to receive a lot of notifications, that's because you're essentially cc'd on all the invitations that get sent out and we built it this way as per clients' request. If there's a particular notification that you'd like to be excluded from or see as redundant, do feel free to enter a brainstorm on it. Maybe we can make some of those notifications configurable/optional. Thank you again for writing this review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 22. Rooster Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy B. | Director, Talent Acquisition Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster is the best scheduling technology partner for Workday ATS clients. The product is a huge value-add for Workday users because it solves for most of the challenges inherent to Workday interview scheduling, while also delivering a variety of features and functionality that make the interview scheduling process efficient and effective. Our team finds Rooster to be very easy to use, and the Rooster team is extremely collaborative and client-oriented.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

We have identified a few feature enhancements that we would like to see Rooster implement in the near future, and their team has been very receptive to these suggestions and transparent with their roadmap. This gives us confidence that the functionality gaps that may exist today will be closed soon.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rooster allows to manage high-volume interview scheduling on a global level, across all job roles and candidate types. Our team is able to work much faster and can be more productive, and can deliver a better stakeholder experience.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Jeremy, for taking the time to write this glowing review. Your team was our first go-live for 2022 and what a great way to start the year. Your clear communication and organization makes you and your team a true pleasure to work with. As you know, Rooster is a relatively young product and our roadmap is completely driven by feedback from users such as yourself. I commend you for upvoting features and for communicating your team's requirements, I'm confident we'll be able to develop your most pressing features by the end of this year. Thank you again and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 23. Great Scheduling Solution!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer N. | Talent Acquisition Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster provides a strong semi-automated scheduling solution to maximize the efficiency of scheduling High Volume & High Touch interviews. The integration, user interface, automation, and reminders help to deliver a very consistent candidate experience.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

There are many upgrades planned in Rooster's future. Some of those things we would love to see right away however are currently in development. The only thing I dislike is that I wish those things were out already!

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rooster helps reduce time to hire, provide consistent candidate experience, and minimize the pains involved with rescheduling interviews!

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you, Spencer, for taking the time to write this great review. It's gratifying to hear that Rooster has increased efficiency, especially on your high volume job reqs where scheduling can be tedious. As our 5th Rooster client, your team's feedback has helped shaped how our product is today. Our roadmap is made up solely of feature requests from users such as yourselves. As Rooster continues to grow so does its complexity, but we do our best to have a regular cadence for feature releases. I encourage you and your team members to upvote features on our brainstorm site since that guides us on which ones to prioritize. Thank you again and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 24. Rooster Review (Previously with ServiceTitan)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin L. | Business Systems Analyst, People Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Scheduling through Rooster provided our Recruiting team with the necessary tools and functionality that Workday lacked. This allowed our business to continue to schedule in each stage (phone screen, assessment, interview) and maintain our recruiting workflow for reporting and analytics from Workday. Our team appreciated the continued updates and partnership to develop the tool further to enhance the user experience all the while resolving any bugs/issues in a quick turnaround time and response. From a technical perspective, Rooster bridged the gaps where Workday lacked.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

While Rooster was able to support Workday gaps, Rooster's UI and reporting capabilities were basic compared to other scheduling tools. Being an early adopter some features that were still in the works like scheduling candidates over multiple dates and account conversions (contractor to FTE account would lose all previous historical scheduling activity). No functionality yet to integrate with other assessment tools.

Note: some Rooster functionality features were limited to Workday's infrastructure.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rooster allowed our business to continue to schedule in each stage (phone screen, assessment, interview) and maintain our recruiting workflow for reporting and analytics from Workday. Features that remained consistent from the transition from Greenhouse ATS scheduling were candidate self-scheduling and requesting availability from candidates within Workday.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you Edwin for your well-rounded, honest review! We're glad to hear that Rooster has helped your team bridge the gap in scheduling especially as you transitioned from one ATS to another. We take our customer service very seriously, which is why our support team is quick to answer all questions and prioritize bug fixes. As an early adopter of Rooster your feedback has played a critical role in the development of our product, and you and your team were incredibly patient as we went through some growing pains. We're always listening to our customers, which is why a feature such as being able to schedule across multiple days in one instance is actively in development now and is slated for release in our next major version. We've also already started making UI enhancements, first with the scheduling page followed by the main dashboard and the candidate page. Thank you again for taking the time to write this review and for being a staunch Rooster partner.

 ### 25. A collaborative partnership with successful results.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Rooster really helps with decreasing the turnaround time between an initial request from a manager to getting the candidate on the calendar.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Not a dislike but an area of improvement would be the ability to segment viewing accessing by role or security.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we've moved to a model of having sourcers vs coordinators on the team Rooster has solved for the extra task of scheduling that are now on the recruiters' plates

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you for your glowing review of Rooster. It's exceedingly gratifying to hear that our product has not only helped speed up your process, but better allocate your team members' time and effort from scheduling to sourcing. Adding a couple of more user levels such as a "View Only" is definitely on our roadmap, it isn't as requested as some of our other features which why it's been pushed to next year. However we do have several features planned for the remainder of 2022 which we're confident will benefit your team, including your Sourcers. Thank you again for taking the time to write this review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 26. Project Lead

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

Autobook functionality is working very well for the recruitment team. With a few clicks, recruiters can send off an invite to allow candidates to schedule their own interviews giving time back to the recruitment team.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

A feature Rooster is missing is the multiple-day scheduling feature.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving time back to the recruitment team.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Rooster! We're happy to hear that you're taking advantage of the candidate self-scheduling feature and that it's user-friendly and giving your team back some much valuable time. Being able to schedule across multiple days in one action is currently in development (it's our number one most upvoted and asked for feature). It's a more complex feature, which is why it's slated for release Q4 2022. You and your team's patience really is appreciated. Again thank you for your honest review and Happy Scheduling!

 ### 27. Easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Rooster Scheduling?**

How easy it is to set up interviews for both the manager and candidate.

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

Not able to share our calendar with other recruiters on the team.

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have any problems at the moment. The benefit is that you can go to one place to schedule everyone's meetings.

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Rooster! We're glad to hear that Rooster is helping consolidate all your scheduling efforts and that you're finding it easy and convenient to use. Your recruiters can log into Rooster to see upcoming interviews, but we do have a couple of other ways you can keep them in the loop. Schedulers can add the recruiter as an Optional Attendee (in essence cc them) on the invites going to the candidate, or you could export the dashboard lineup and filter by recruiter. If there's something else you have in mind, please feel free to enter a feature request on our brainstorm site and we'll do our best to incorporate it in one of our releases. Thank you again and Happy Scheduling!

**What problems is Rooster Scheduling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rooster helps me save SO much time!

**Official Response from Nevine Eltonbary:**

> Hi Suzanne, thank you for your honest review. We're always glad to hear that Rooster is assisting with team collaboration and helping you save time, it's why we built it after all! Your pain point makes complete sense, which is why we're currently developing a "draft" mode to allow schedulers to save their progress if they need to navigate away from the page mid-schedule. You'll be the first to know when it's ready for testing. Thank you again and Happy Scheduling!

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

Rooster is robust, provides superior functionality, is intuitive, streamlines business processes, and is an excellent integration partner with Workday! If you're looking to increase productivity, this is your go-to scheduling tool!!!

**What do you dislike about Rooster Scheduling?**

It doesn't have audio for any Rooster wake-up calls, lol.
