"Effortless Setup, Smarter Meetings, and Reliable Follow-Ups"
5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

I like how convenient ROAM is. It makes the things I do and need a lot easier, helps me manage and align my calendar, and makes scheduling meetings easier. People can access my calendar and find a time to meet, and I can use ROAM to connect with people I haven’t met before in a comfortable virtual space. I can hold and record meetings, review the transcripts, ask questions about them, and create meeting reviews so I can better understand and use information for the clients I’m seeing. ROAM also helps me use meetings better, remember details, and be more intentional about connecting with people. It helps me create better systems, follow up, stay consistent, and not miss things, both professionally and with my family. I also like that people get to experience little pieces of me through ROAM. It has a great assistant, and setup was very easy and smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

I haven't fully tapped into all of ROAM's capabilities, so I can't really say what could be improved. Maybe the ability to access all features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A User-Friendly Platform for Better Organization and Productivity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

What I like most about Roam is its clean, user-friendly interface and how easy it is to navigate while managing daily tasks. The UI/UX feels intuitive and well organized, so I can get started quickly without a steep learning curve. Performance is smooth and the experience feels reliable, which helps me stay productive and keep my workflow on track.

I also appreciate the potential for integrations to streamline work and reduce the need to switch between different tools. From a value perspective, having tasks and workflows organized in one place can save time and support overall productivity. The platform is straightforward to use, and the smooth onboarding experience makes it easier to get comfortable with its features. Intelligent features that simplify repetitive tasks and make workflows more efficient are valuable as well. Overall, Roam provides a convenient, organized experience that makes day-to-day work more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

While Roam is generally user-friendly, there’s still room to improve in areas like advanced customization, integrations with other tools, and the flexibility of certain workflows. A few features could be more intuitive, and more detailed onboarding guidance would help users get the most out of the platform from the start. I’d also appreciate greater transparency around pricing, along with more advanced intelligent features that can automate repetitive tasks. Overall, these feel like opportunities for refinement rather than major drawbacks, and addressing them could make the platform even more efficient and valuable. "A surprisingly fun, feature-packed alternative to Microsoft Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

I really like how much ROAM manages to back into one platform. It feels like a combination of Microsoft Teams, Discord, Viva Engage, Wispr Flow, and Workplace Insights, without having to jump between a bunch of different applications.

I'm also not the biggest fan of Microsoft Teams, so having an alternative that feels more engaging is a huge plus. The built-in games are an unexpectedly great addition too. I never thought I'd be looking forward to game night in a workplace app, but here we are! They give ROAM a personality that most collaboration tools are missing. What do you dislike about Roam?

I'd love more flexibility in how the interface is organized, particularly the sidebar and channels. Better search and navigation would also make it easier to find what I'm looking for, and a search bar within settings would be especially helpful. I'd also like more control over what appears in my workspace and how everything is arranged.

Admittedly, I haven't explored every customization option yet, so I'm not entirely sure what's available to regular users versus administrators.

On a less serious note, the game bots could use a difficulty upgrade. I'd love more competition! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Roam Makes Remote Work Feel In-Person—Easy, Affordable, and Powerful"
5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

Roam is making virtual work collaborative, practical, and easy. I love how you can either tie your physical office to Roam, or be completely remote. Jumping into people's offices is by far the real deal, and it makes us feel like we're in person. The floors everything. I'm constantly looking out for the next releases. Love Roam. Price is a no brainer. We already got rid of zoom, slack, and loom - so saving over $100 per month just by switching. Support is world class, which is unexpected at less than $20 per month. It integrates so easily with my email that I don't even notice switching between platforms. And now that I have a lovely AI On It Assistant, both for the org and for me personally, it's like having a personal assistant. All in all, I've saved so much, just by getting Roam. I tell everyone about it, and everytime I get a client in the office, they're super impressed and feel like they're in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

Hard question here. So far, my only 'dislike' is that I can't use it more. The product is pretty 5 stars, so I'm reaching here, but can't think of anything right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Office-Like Team Communication That Makes Starting Conversations Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

I like the part where it feels like we're just in the office and we're able to interact. The friction in communication is gone, especially for our team. We don't all share the same culture, and everyone has a different personality. Because of Roam, our team got better since it's easier to start a conversation, just one click, unlike traditional messaging apps where you still have to make a call. It feels different, even though the concept is the same; underneath the hood, it's a normal messaging app, but the experience makes a big impact. So, that's what I like most about Roam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

The only thing I don’t really like about Roam is its compatibility with Windows. It feels a bit laggy and buggy, although it works fine on my other devices like my Mac and phone. I’m also not a big fan of its performance, especially when it comes to screen sharing. It’s not very smooth compared to other apps. I haven’t experienced the same kind of lag when sharing my screen on other mainstream apps. It has quite a few technical issues, but I feel like the developers will be able to fix them. "Roam - A Game Changer for Remote Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

Honestly, there’s a lot I like about Roam. The biggest thing is that it’s basically replacing so many tools we were using separately before, Zoom, Google Meet, Calendly, AI meeting notes, recordings, etc. Having all of that in one place makes things so much easier and saves us from constantly jumping between different platforms.

The meeting recordings and transcripts are probably one of my favorite parts because I can easily go back and find something from a call without having to remember exactly when it was said or dig through a bunch of notes.

We’ve also been working with Peter since day one, and he’s been nothing but the best. He’s always sharing our ideas with our team, taking our feedback seriously, and bringing things back to the Roam team to see how they can make it better. It really feels like we’re building and figuring things out together, which has been awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

I don’t really have anything major. We had some latency issues with video calls initially, but the team has been really good about listening to the feedback and making improvements. It’s gotten noticeably better, so I don’t really have anything else I’d consider a major downside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable and Intuitive Collaboration Tool"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

I like that ROAM makes collaborating with teammates a bit more seamless than Slack or similar messaging applications through its unique map-based UI layout. ROAM allows us to customize our entrance/exit music, which lets me express myself in a remote environment. The setup was very straightforward and intuitive, which made the transition from Slack easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

It would be nice if ROAM can auto-record AI meeting notes upon entering a meeting room. And in terms of joining a Google Meets, I don't like that the default Join button enables the AI recording. ROAM could improve by allowing us to have animated backgrounds like Google Meets. That feature would allow for more self-expression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Meetings, Strong Calendar Integrations, and Accurate Magic Minutes"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Roam?

It’s easy to get into a video meeting, and I like the visibility into who’s available, along with the accuracy of the magic minutes. The integration with Office 365 and Google for calendar scheduling and emailing is also solid. Pricing is on par with Zoom, or even better depending on how you use it. Overall, it performs consistently, and support has been excellent through live chat. The AI has also been above average in accuracy so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

The camera feed doesn’t autofocus or center participants the way Zoom does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Team Coordination, Needs Better Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Roam?

I like how ROAM makes team coordination a breeze by letting me easily connect with team members, even when they're in do not disturb mode. It solves our challenge of juggling multiple apps by offering an easy-to-use platform where I can see who's doing what, who's talking to whom, and view everyone's availability with just one click. The integrations with tools like Claude and Google Calendar are fantastic, making it simple to manage my schedule and invite people without hassle. I appreciate its AI integration, which acts as a great agent, and the guided setup made it easy to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Roam?

Well, I believe support was initially great, but now the support is not so great. Sometimes, there is a separate trade window, and it's harder to find the chat window. If someone is sharing their screen and you are in chat, it's harder to find that. So yeah, that kind of lacks a great user experience. It's minor, I would say, not a major one.
