Every week we get an email announcing a new enhancement or upgrade. They truly listen to advisor feedback and impliment changes. Second, clients can easily understand their plan when we present. Visually its apealing. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** Some minor improvement can certaintly be made. A few things, when mapping out NUA for a client the software is not flexible when it comes to taxes. The Roth conversion tool is great, but again it falls a little flat on how taxes are paid. **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** RightCapital is the exclsuive financial planning software we use to show how clients are doing for retirement planning, tax effciency, income planning, college savigs, debt paydown, and estate planning. ### 3. Also, I have found the investment allocation, weighting to specific industries vs. the benchmark, and overall style box to be very informative, along with the concentration risk feature. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** The default of every transaction (e.g. sale of a home, sale of company stock, etc.) is to reinvest 100% of the proceeds. Does not give the advisor flexibility to show "how much do you need to save to achieve your goal"? Also, I would like the ability to model different scenarios for stock sales at different prices (i.e. I would like to see what my financial situation looks like if my company were to IPO at $20/share vs. $40/share). **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a platform to model a lot of moving pieces into a simplified plan so that the clients can view all of their financial accounts and inputs in one place. Also, the ability for the client to digitally onboard on their own via sending them a link to create their profile helps create a seamless onboarding experience. ### 5. Right Capital Review **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2022 **What do you like best about RightCapital?** Very easy to use, and the visuals and comparisons are very powerful in client presentations. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** Compared to other planning software, there is a lot of room for improvement on more sophisticated plans. For instance, there is only the ability to model one general asset allocation for all accounts. **Recommendations to others considering RightCapital:** This beats out others such as EMoney by leaps and bounds in terms of ease of use, ease of making changes, potential plan comparisons, and stress testing. However, if you deal with UHNW clients with more sophisticated situations and assets, you might find limitations in accurately inputting their details. **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** Right Capital is currently fixing some authentication issues we have for a client linking their bank. This will help in the long run, as the client would like to see their up to date balances and impact on the plan. However, this has already taken 8+ months, so we will see if it actually gets resolved. ### 6. It's especially helpful because we like to create and update financial plans interactively with our clients and the quick solutions keep everyone engaged. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** There are just a few enhancements we would REALLY like and have communicated this with RC, and while sometimes we get the enhancements, others that we haven't may just be from not enough need by other users or the software's ability to be implemented. We would also really like an open API to be able to talk with our CRM systems. **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to answer most of our clients questions with regards to if, how, and when they can fulfill any of their life/financial goals. Being able to model it and show clients the outcome gives everyone the confidence to move forward. ### 7. It's much more sleek and modern than other planning software I've tried out. It doesn't require nearly as much training to use, either, but still does everything I need it to and more. It is constantly being improved and the trainings they offer each week are very helpful for specialized knowledge and planning scenarios. I've found their support team to be incredibly friendly and helpful. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** I wish there were more integrations with other software, but that is something they are always working to add. **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** RightCapital is the only planning software I use and it works great for my clientele. Clients are able to log into their portal and see different areas I have selected, as well as try out various planning scenarios. They also utilize the vault for securely sharing or storing documents, and the shared task list. ### 8. No more guessing or manual entry. 4) connects seamlessly to Broadridge and pulls all my client's data in 5) the student loan module is very timely! So many Millenials are swimming in loans and this feature can help me create a niche in the medical market I'm gaining a foothold. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** I've recently discovered that my firm has partnered with another financial planning firm making their solutions possibly more affordable. Time will tell. **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** Evaluating Roth Conversions during the tax "sale" has been really helpful. Haven't recommended a conversion but have helped illustrate the usefulness in funding more of the Roth side of the client's 401k over the next several years while taxes are lower and the brackets are wider. ### 12. It's easy to use from the planner's side and clients find it intuitive as well. **What do you dislike about RightCapital?** There's not much to dislike. All I can think of is a programming quirk. If I need to check on the opening page, I have to completely leave a client's plan, reclick the correct client and change a field such as client access. **Recommendations to others considering RightCapital:** It's important to have the right tool to connect with clients. RightCapital makes the tool easy for me, their support easily handles my questions, and my clients can relate to it. **What problems is RightCapital solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clients hear numbers from a variety of sources, but large numbers are hard to break down into monthly and yearly needs. Right Capital makes that information easy to conceptualize and illustrate as goals need to be met. Clients like working with me when I use Right Capital--they can see the path. ### 13.
