Two things stand out to me: First, they are always continuing to improve their product. Every week we get an email announcing a new enhancement or upgrade. Some minor improvement can certaintly be made. A few things, when mapping out NUA for a client the software is not flexible when it comes to taxes. The Roth conversion tool is great, but again it falls a little flat on how taxes are paid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have found the customizable snapshot to be incredibly insightful to summarize and track the key metrics in my clients' financial lives. Also, I have found the investment allocation, weighting to specific industries vs. the benchmark, and overall style box to be very informative, along with the concentration risk feature. The default of every transaction (e.g. sale of a home, sale of company stock, etc.) is to reinvest 100% of the proceeds. Does not give the advisor flexibility to show "how much do you need to save to achieve your goal"? Also, I would like the ability to model different scenarios for stock sales at different prices (i.e. I would like to see what my financial situation looks like if my company were to IPO at $20/share vs. $40/share). There are just a few enhancements we would REALLY like and have communicated this with RC, and while sometimes we get the enhancements, others that we haven't may just be from not enough need by other users or the software's ability to be implemented. RightCapital is powerful planning software, but still simple to use. It's much more sleek and modern than other planning software I've tried out. It doesn't require nearly as much training to use, either, but still does everything I need it to and more. It is constantly being improved and the trainings they offer each week are very helpful for specialized knowledge and planning scenarios.
