Small businesses also use Revit effectively, though some flag the subscription pricing as a strain. Revit does not offer a permanent free version, but a free trial is available for evaluation. The trial provides time-limited access to assess Revit's full BIM capabilities before committing to a paid plan. Revit's paid plans start at $290 per month or $2,310 per year, unlocking continuous access to the latest and previous versions, administrative tools, and flexible licensing. "Great for Modeling and Fabrication Sheets, Less Tailored for Electrical Work"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Revit?

Revit is a great piece of software for modeling and for creating fabrication sheets. It’s been a solid tool for producing the drawings and sheets I need from my models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revit?

Revit definitely has some flaws. For one, it’s very expensive. It also isn’t specifically designed as an electrical design tool, and that limitation can create additional workflow issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revit solving and how is that benefiting you?

One thing I find very helpful is that Revit allows third-party add-ins. These add-ins have made Revit a better tool overall and improved the experience for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
