"Set-It-and-Forget-It Solution, Though Support Could Be Faster when called upon"

What do you like best about Resilio Active Everywhere?

It works better than our previous solution from NetApp. They discontinued their product, and we found this one. So far, we've had to deal with a few issues that required a little attention, but this product is basically set it and forget it. This solution has made working from San Diego to Melbourne Australia very pleasant for my users in San Diego. You can hardly tell a different in speed from wither location. What do you dislike about Resilio Active Everywhere?

Originally, support requests weren't getting resolved as fast as expected. There's still a little lag with support in comparison with our previous product. They had 3 guys that handled all support calls, all were well versed in the product and were able to resolve support calls in a very short time. All 3 were level 2/3 support, so most issues were resolved on the front line and didn't need to get escalated to Dev. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Resilio Active Everywhere?

The ability to centralize all our company assets in a single cloud-based source of truth has enabled our distributed and remote team to collaborate smoothly, eliminating the hassle of transferring large amounts of data, particularly RAW footage and video projects. Resilio Connect, with its intuitive management console, made it easy for our postproduction coordinators to handle access requests as our team continued to grow. For end users such as editors, curators, and QA staff, the process became completely seamless, as they no longer needed to open the Resilio Connect software on their desktops. Over the past month, we successfully upgraded our instance with the valuable assistance of the support team, who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition and prevent any service interruptions. What problems is Resilio Active Everywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the primary challenges this solution addresses is enabling the seamless and efficient transfer of large amounts of data among team members spread across different locations. Now, everyone can access the most up-to-date files and updates in real time, which has eliminated the delays and inefficiencies we previously experienced with traditional file transfer methods.

Resilio Connect has also strengthened our data security through its decentralized peer-to-peer architecture, minimizing the risk of data loss and ensuring that sensitive information remains protected during transmission. This not only safeguards our intellectual property but also reassures our clients about the integrity and confidentiality of the data they share with us.

Our business has grown, and after acquiring many companies, we needed a way to share and collaborate with users across these companies. What do you like best about Resilio Active Everywhere?

We are using Resilio to share files to and from our fleet all over the world. Even with very slow connections this works really good.

Compared to the previous solution we need a lot less maintenance and users are now even asking to expand the scope to endpoints we did not even know of.

The interface may be improved somewhat.

"Excellent file sync for AutoCAD"

What do you like best about Resilio Active Everywhere?

We are able to utilize file sync between file servers at remote sites without the need to utilize remote desktop software or slow VPN connections. Tech support has been excellent for every issue and the reps I have talked to have all been US based and easy to communicate with. Customer service seems to be a high priority. What do you dislike about Resilio Active Everywhere?

The cost to synchronize multiple data servers is based on the maximum usage model so other servers cannot be sync'd at lower speeds or with lower priority and data usage. Adding a 3rd server to the sync at a different location for two users is very cost prohibitive for the few projects they collaborate on with the other offices. At the end, it's still a file base syncing, so it'll never be better than block level snapshots and backup. Still has a bunch of technical issues like fail to sync files/folders for whatever reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
