"Legally compliant, practically frustrating."
3/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

The onboarding process was very well organized. Uploading documents before hiring followed a clear, step-by-step flow, which made everything easy to understand and easy to follow. The documentation was also very easy to access (contract, payslip). The UI/UX is very friendly. I haven't used any AI or integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

I ran into several issues during the contract process. It felt like a generic template was used with my name simply inserted, which then led to a long, slow back-and-forth to get the details corrected. I also had concerns about internal responsiveness: updates and changes often seemed to be pushed to the following month instead of being handled promptly, really slow performance from their team.

I also had trouble requesting a leave of absence because the system wouldn’t approve it. When I reported the problem, I was redirected to a different department, and the support experience there left a lot to be desired.

While I was in onboarding, I was asked to resend documents via email that I had already uploaded to the platform, which felt redundant and unnecessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Melissa — this is exactly the kind of candid feedback that helps us improve. We're glad onboarding and document access worked well, but we're sorry the contract felt templated and that corrections took a slow back-and-forth to resolve. We've been working on tighter contract personalization and faster turnaround so changes don't slip into the next cycle. If anything is still outstanding on your side, please reach out to your account manager or our support team and we'll prioritize it.

"Simple Management and Clear Access"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

What I like the most is the Remote People platform. Having the opportunity to have everything in one place, which I can easily access, is very important to me. I greatly value that I can have everything in one place and that it is also easy to access and understand. Additionally, it helps me have an exact control of my payroll payments and the benefits I have. I like it because I can see everything the company I work for does and pays for me. The transition process was very easy, clear, and straightforward, and I greatly value the clarity of everything. I would really highly recommend Remote People, as it is an easy-to-manage tool for both the employer and the employee and has direct and clear support for any needs that may arise. What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

So far there is nothing negative, everything has worked perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Cristina! Having payroll, benefits, and documents all in one clear place is exactly what we want the platform to be — and it's great to hear the transition itself was easy and transparent. We really appreciate the recommendation!

"Smooth, Fast Onboarding with Truly Hands-On Support for International Expansion"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

Horizons' onboarding process was smooth and fast, their support team walked us through every step of setting up compliant contracts in new countries. Whenever questions came up, responses were quick and actually useful, not generic. That level of hands-on support made expanding our team internationally far less stressful than I expected." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

Nothing major to complain about, if I had to nitpick, I'd say the amount of documentation and options can feel a bit overwhelming when you're just getting started, though the support team helps you cut through it quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Jorge! International expansion has enough moving parts already, so 'far less stressful than I expected' is exactly the outcome we aim for. Fair nitpick on the documentation volume early on — we're working on making those first steps feel lighter, and we're glad the support team helped you cut through it quickly.

"Efficient and paperless, but lacks human contact"
4/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

What I like most about Remote People is that it's fast and they've done everything paperless, which means I don't have to handle a lot of paperwork or sign documents. It makes it easier for me not to have so many papers at home, as I can have everything in a cloud or on a server that I can easily access. This is quite good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

The fact that everything is handled by email at Remote People can be complicated. We need to have some presence or know someone we can communicate with physically. I'm concerned about the possibility of receiving unreliable emails, as I don't know anyone from the team. It would be good to have someone to contact quickly, even if it's via chat. Additionally, the information about the transition from Horizon to Remote People was not clear, which caused me concern when uploading personal information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Mario! Glad the paperless, everything-in-the-cloud approach is making things easier. Your point about human contact is well taken — we're working on clearer named contacts and quicker channels like chat so you always know exactly who you're talking to. And you're right to be cautious with email: if a message ever looks off, verify it through the platform before acting on it.

"Remote People has got a new fan!"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

What impressed us most was how effortless Remote People made hiring across different countries. The entire EOR process was very fast, felt well-organized, compliant, and much quicker than trying to establish entities on our own, which removed a lot of friction for our team.

A big reason this worked so well was Bala, our account manager. He was always available, detail-oriented, and ahead of things, whether it was clarifying compliance questions or setting expectations around timelines. His involvement made the whole experience feel controlled and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

There isn't much to flag as a concern, but more of a thing to note, that you can choose (and change, which is quite nifty) the currency to be charged in, which will come at a fixed exchange rate.

Thanks to Bala walking us through this early on, everything was clearly understood, so there were no unexpected surprises later.

An area of improvement is the things I can do from the mobile app, but my workaround is to switch to the desktop version on my phone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Danielle — welcome to the fan club! We're especially glad to hear about Bala; we've passed your kind words along to him, and being available, detail-oriented, and ahead of things is exactly what we want from every account manager. Noted on the mobile app — expanding what you can do there (without the desktop-mode workaround) is on our roadmap.

"Streamlining Global Hiring and Workforce Management"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

Remote People has helped us simplify the process of hiring and managing talent across multiple countries. The platform makes onboarding, payroll administration, and compliance much easier to handle, while the support team is responsive and knowledgeable when questions arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

While the platform covers most of our needs, there are occasional areas where additional reporting options and workflow customization would improve the overall experience. Some processes could also benefit from further automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Kayima! Simplifying multi-country hiring while keeping support genuinely knowledgeable is what we strive for every day. Your suggestions on richer reporting, workflow customization, and further automation are spot-on — all three are active areas of investment for us, and we've shared your input with the product team.

"Streamlined Global Hiring with Remote People"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

I like how Remote People centralizes global hiring into one structured workflow, making the combination of onboarding, payroll, and management very efficient. It streamlines onboarding, payroll, and compliance in a centralized way, which allows faster deployment of talents without heavy internal administrative work. It removes the need to handle country-specific employment laws and setup on our own, simplifying contracts and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. With everything handled in one place, it improves speed and consistency in hiring, making scaling international teams more predictable and operationally efficient. The initial setup was straightforward and smooth. I would give Remote People a 10/10 because it's just amazing and good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

The main improvement would be more advanced reporting and analytics for enterprise oversight. Deeper visibility into hiring trends, costs, and regional distribution would be useful. More customizable dashboards for leadership decision making would also add value. We'd benefit from more granular breakdowns of headcount, costs, and hiring velocity by region. It would also help to have customizable reports for executive and board level presentations. Real-time dashboards with exportable insights would make strategic planning easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Martin, for such a thorough review! Making international scaling predictable — onboarding, payroll, and compliance in one workflow — is exactly the outcome we design for. Your enterprise reporting wishlist is excellent input: richer analytics on headcount, costs, and hiring velocity by region, plus exportable board-ready dashboards, are firmly on our roadmap discussions, and we've shared your specifics with the product team.

"Effortless International Hiring, Perfect for Scaling"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

I use Remote People to quickly bring on talents in new markets without slowing down on legal setup. It handles employment logistics like payroll and compliance behind the scenes, which makes it easier to stay lean while scaling internationally. What I like most is how it removes friction from cross-border hiring, bringing payroll, contracts, and compliance into a single workflow, while also making us move faster when we identify talents in new markets. It allows us to hire in new countries without waiting on a legal setup or local infrastructure. We can focus on evaluating and onboarding talent while the platform handles compliance in the background. The initial setup was quite simple compared to what I expected, and the setup guide even made it more fun and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

The main gap is deeper visibility into workforce data for leadership decisions, more advanced reporting and filtering by region or role would be helpful. It could also benefit from more intuitive dashboards for quick executive level insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Carolyn! Staying lean while entering new markets is exactly the trade-off we want to eliminate, so it's great to hear cross-border hiring feels frictionless. Noted on leadership-level reporting — richer workforce analytics, filtering by region and role, and more intuitive executive dashboards are high on our product team's agenda. We appreciate you taking the time to share this!

"Quick adaptation, agile support, and a very easy-to-use web, the platform is easy to navigate."
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

The entire adaptation process was very quick. Additionally, they respond quickly to emails and the website is very easy to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

Actually, up to this moment, I have nothing bad to say about Remote People. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, July! A quick ramp-up and fast email responses are two things we work hard to keep consistent, so this is wonderful to read. We'll keep earning that 'nothing bad to say' — and if that ever changes, we want to be the first to know.

"Remote People Helped Innowise Scale Global Talent Operations Efficiently"
5/5
What do you like best about RemotePeople?

Remote People made it easy for Innowise to hire and manage international talent across multiple countries. Their EOR services, responsive support team, and streamlined onboarding process reduced administrative workload and ensured compliance with local employment regulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePeople?

The platform offers extensive features, which can require some time for new users to fully understand and utilize effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pierre Pradier of RemotePeople

Thank you, Angelina! It's been a pleasure supporting Innowise's international growth — hearing that EOR, support, and onboarding together reduced your admin workload is exactly what we hope for. Fair point that the feature depth takes some time to master; we're adding more in-app guidance to shorten that learning curve.
