RemeDocs Reviews & Product Details

RemeDocs is an automated PDF remediation platform that makes document accessibility compliance fast, scalable, and audit-ready. Upload any PDF and RemeDocs analyzes it against WCAG 2.1 AA, PDF/UA-1, and Section 508 standards, then automatically applies the fixes — full tag structure, alt text, heading hierarchy, table structure, reading order, link text, language, and metadata — returning a fully compliant, screen-reader-ready document in seconds. Built for organizations facing rising accessibility requirements and enforcement deadlines, RemeDocs replaces hours of manual tagging with a consistent, repeatable process. It uses AI-powered analysis and OCR to handle everything from text-based files to scanned image PDFs, multi-column layouts, and complex tables, and delivers an audit certificate and detailed, issue-by-issue compliance report with every output. Key capabilities include automated document tagging, AI-generated alt text for images and charts, OCR for scanned documents, complex table remediation, descriptive link text, corrected metadata, and batch and API processing, with output validated against PAC 2024. Remediated files are PDF/UA-1 compliant, and a VPAT 2.4 is available on request. RemeDocs serves government agencies meeting ADA Title II and Section 508 deadlines, healthcare organizations making patient documents accessible, and educational institutions ensuring equitable access to course materials. Pricing is a flat monthly rate scoped to each organization's backlog and ongoing document volume — no per-page fees — starting at $100/month, with a free PDF accessibility audit available to anyone, no account required.
