## Reflector Reviews
  ### 1. Go wireless in a tap — everything right on screen.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

With Reflector, I easily mirror my phone, tablet, or computer to any nearby screen without cables. Setup takes less than a minute. I can record sessions or capture instant screenshots, and adjusting the output resolution—even in high definition—lets me adapt seamlessly to different projectors.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

I haven’t faced connection issues; even with multiple devices, everything stays smooth and stable, without the slowdowns or sync problems I expected.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often rely on Reflector to share images, presentations, or videos, and I’m impressed by the smooth 60 fps performance, even with dynamic content. It’s especially valuable in academic management meetings, where I quickly display content from multiple devices on one screen without messy adapters or cables.

  ### 2. Useful for debugging/reviewing current and lost code

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

A key feature of .NET Reflector is its ability to decompile compiled .NET assemblies into their original C# or Visual Basic source code. This feature makes it easy for a developer to understand how the code works and to learn from other developers' code.

I have used this to rewrite applications written by developers who no longer work at our institution where the source code is lost or unable to be located.

Licensing is a one-time payment for any particular version.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

I only use this from time to time, so I haven't come across anything I dislike about the product. It does what it is intended to do.

I would like to see the licensing cost carry forward to possibly one or two version updates.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reflector allows for peeking and debugging of controls you may be using in a .NET application and allows you to set break points on error. You can also use it to peek into COTS assemblies to locate errors when contacting vendor support.

  ### 3. Easy to use, works as intended, great multi-platform solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roszaimy Y. | S, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

The software is extremely easy to use. The interface is simple and relatively intuitive. It takes just a few seconds to mirror my iOS screen to my Macbook and Windows PC in my office. It also comes with security measures to prevent unauthorized access with verification codes that need to be synced between computer and mobile device. Works with various connection protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and plain, old data cable. Multi-platform support namely Mac OS, Windows, Android and iOS.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

When mirrored to a computer, I can only perform any operations on the phone screen. There is no option to control the mobile phone operation by using a computer mouse and/or the keyboard. I feel that sometimes this extra ability can be handy when it is inconvenient for me to access my phone during a presentation.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Depending on the PC and mobile operating platforms used by various staff in your department, there might be a need for a unified approach by using one software for all of them. For example, for a typical small enterprise consisting of 20-30 personnel using different OSes such as Mac OS, Windows, Android, and iOS, Reflector can be extremely useful as the application supports all these operating platforms. In terms of pricing, an individual license be below $25.00, and as in our case, we negotiated for an enterprise bundle rate that enabled us to deploy the software to around 50 working staff in the department. At the end of the day, it boils down to the nature of your departmental needs and allocated budgets.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are certain work solutions in the office that are only accessible through apps. Having the ability to mirror my phone screen to a computer that is connected to a big screen projector is highly beneficial when doing a presentation or conducting classroom training. As for personal use, Reflector is also very handy when I want to stream videos to a larger display, especially during my outstation travels.

  ### 4. Application to share your mobile device on a computer screen

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

The app is fairly easy to use to share your mobile phone on a computer screen for a product demo. The app does not require a cable connection, only that you are on the same wifi network as your second device.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The app does not allow you to prep / set up a phone share prior to the exact moment its needed. Even if you have two monitors and set up reflector in advance, you have to maintain the connection. It can also be glitchy and does not always connected as needed.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with a software that requires me to demo but a website as well as a mobile app. Reflector allows me to seamlessly (most of the time) switch between the two different views in dmeos.

**Official Response from Emily Carle Hafer:**

> Thank you for your review of Reflector! We're happy to hear the product is easy to use and is worthwhile in your work.

If you haven't already, we recommend trying out the Connect and Hide feature on Reflector - this will allow you to mirror your screen without it showing up. You are then able to select when you're ready to show your screen.

Reach out if you have any questions or concerns about the product. Again, thank you for your feedback and for your support!

  ### 5. Easiest way to (Apple) Airplay/ (Android) cast to screenshare your device to your computer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario T. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

I like best its simplicity. It's an airplay-and-go experience, I use it a lot for screen sharing when I also need to show my code, and I need to show both screens simultaneously: My desktop and mobile screen. I do not need to connect any extra cables or open any QuickTime application for iOS or other fancy castings for Android applications. This has support for both platforms. One other thing I like a lot is how easy it is to make screen recordings, and not just that, also the

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Something Reflector has done better in version4 that failed to achieve in the previous version is how it renders colors; light grey shades and pretty much all close-to-white colors were not fully visible. That along caused a problem when trying to showcase design implementations. Now with Reflector4 way to display colors is much closer to the actual colors but still far from the same shades of the real color.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

One thing I recommend would be to go to Preferences > AirPlay Security and change it to None. I use it only when I needed; then, I exit Reflector, so no one connects to my screen. I do this to make it faster to present my devices and avoid spending time typing security codes. If you need to keep it running and keep Reflector open, maybe you want to change those settings to One-Time so that you are not asked a different code for the same device.
One other recommendation would be to keep Recording Quality to Medium; it is actually quite good; you will have an acceptable quality video for few megabytes; that's what I love the most, that long videos are actually small file size.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a developer, I want to show my progress quickly to teammates, designers, and clients; Reflector4 has helped me achieve this. It's easy to quicly share the device on the screen along with desigs, code, other tools, instead of using some pre-defined sharing tools such as zoom or quick time that allows you to share only the device, but, not everything including your desktop. One other thing I love is that I can easily share Adroid and iOS in parallel, so I can do a full demo o both application at the same time, this has been a game changer for me.

**Official Response from Emily Carle Hafer:**

> Thank you for your review, Mario! We appreciate your feedback. It sounds like you've had a good experience with Reflector 4 and we hope we can continue to provide a quality product for you and your work as a developer. Thank you again for your support! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about our products.

  ### 6. Perfect Screen Mirroring Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit G. | Strategic Alliances Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

I liked the phone outlook options. The user interface of this software looks really catchy and easy to use. You can see an actual mobile interface on the screen, white the counterparts lack this feature, for example, Airserver. Another reason to buy a reflector is that it is cost-effective than other products in the market. It costs me $30 while other were in $40 range.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The only thing that I disliked is that it doesn't offer an app to connect with it. You can use the default Airplay for Apple users or Google cast or Miracast for Android users but no app belongs to Reflector. Although I found an app named student reflector on the Apple store, it asked me to buy it before downloading, not sure if that is the correct app to pair with the software. While the counterparts like Airserver has an app called Connect.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Indeed, the software works well and you should choose it over other players in the market if they are not solving a unique problem for you.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a software (SaaS Product) That offers a mobile version as well. We need to mirror our mobiles and show it the prospects that how mobile application works with the web version. I also record my video while giving a demo using the reflector 4.

The product is solving two problems for me, Mirroring my phone and recording a video of the screen. Mirroring and recording both are working really well and solving my purpose of busing the software.

**Official Response from Emily Carle Hafer:**

> Thank you for your review, Mohit! We love to hear how our customers are using our products in their work. In addition, we appreciate your feedback about your experience. Please reach out if you have any other questions or concerns about the product. Thank you for your support!

  ### 7. The best mobile device mirroring software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Reflector is easy to use and allows you to mirror both iOS and Android devices well, which in my experience is a rare attribute.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Honestly, Reflector 2 had some issues and would close unexpectedly at times, but I have never had issues with Reflector 3. It is not a complex solution but that is one of the big things I appreciate about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Mirroring iOS on a Mac is easy but Android requires a few more steps. Test it out and learn the process so your people are well prepared before they actually need to mirror.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To sell and train on our own software, we need to be able to mirror a mobile device on desktop monitors and laptops. Reflector 3 allows us to do that with great image quality. This directly impacts our sales and retention.

  ### 8. Reflector 3 for Mac Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Reflector 3 is an easy tool that effortlessly mirrors your iPad or iPhone to your mac computer. It solves the problem of wanting to show what an application looks like on your iPad while sharing your screen to your MacBook. Simply open Reflector 3 on your computer and press mirror screen on your device. I can mirror my Android tablet to my MacBook as well so it can be used cross device.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Every so often it takes a while to actually connect your iOS device to the computer where the option to mirror doesn't show up right away. I can't use the application to mirror my Surface Pro to my MacBook. It allows me to mirror my iOS devices and Android devices but not my Surface Pro.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

If you are trying to mirror a iOS device to a MacBook or Windows computer, this application will make your life so much easier. It effortlessly allows you to mirror your device without jumping through multiple hoops like other competitor software makes you do.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the trainer for our companies sales app and it is a valuable tool when showing people how our app works on the device they will be using it on (iPad and iPhone). It has an option of recording your screen so you can use the app to create tutorials on how our sales app functions. It makes my life easier and makes our training capabilities more useful to our sales team. As a marketer, I am constantly looking for tools that make bridging the gap between our marketing team and our sales team easier and this application helps. When mirroring a device, it shows the outline of the actual device so the sales team can easily see that I am showing them our app on and iPad or Android device.

  ### 9. Show an app in a live demo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam W. | Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2020

  ### 10. Did not work - Windows

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Recognizes phone type and applies skin. Works smoothly on Mac devices.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Unable to work stably on Windows devices. Was tested on several networks with several windows devices, and problem persisted. Tech support unable to resolve issue and kept suggesting it was computer or network despite eliminating these possibilities. Unable to use product and unable to refund as 30 day period had expired.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing app screen for mobile devices when doing product demos

  ### 11. Love this

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey B. | Senior Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

I love this application. It makes it so easy to show my screen on a video conference. It is so much easier than having to worry about making sure I have to cable to connect

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

It has been great! Pulls up right away and works well. Lags compared to a hard wire but that is to be expected.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

I have really love the ease of use of this app. would totally recommend to anyone

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love not having to take a cable every where I go to show my screen.

  ### 12. Great Solution, however at times drops out

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumeet M. | Advisor, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

This Reflector by AirSquirrels Solved the problem of how to best display or mirror your iPad or iPhone to 3rd parties via conference calls online. Hence it was nice elegant solution.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

It is not consistent even when both devices are on the same WiFI (it needs this to work). Sometimes the device will not display. I had recommended and had my business reportee's use it and we both had problems on both Apple and PC. When I spoke with customer service they had indicated that sometimes you need to reset the wifi. So the quick fix is to turn off Reflector and then have both devices disconnect from the current wifi and then reconnect and run again. However, in pressure situations when trying to show a demo of the iPad or app - this extra time preparation is unnecessary. I still use the product however had my head of sales try out Mirroring and she loves that. I have a lifetime license for AirSquirrel's Reflector. They need to fix this intermittent issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Give a chance and see if it works for you consistently. I just tried it for the screen shot and it froze - right when doing this review. It works about 60-70% of the time.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to showcase to business customers and also train other users of our app remotely. Great benefits and time savings in training, demoing, showing to investors the product.

  ### 13. A Great Screen Mirroring Utility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris D. | Student and Family Minister, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Reflector is a fantastic way to share the screen of an iOS device to a computer running macOS. I use it regularly for presentations and instructional time. The quality of the mirroring is fantastic. It's also nice to be able to record the screen as you're mirroring it. I also like that it shows up in the AirPlay mirroring section of control center in iOS.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The latency is not quite as low as mirroring to an Apple TV, but seeing as it works across a wider range of devices including Android and Chrome OS, that's worth overlooking.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

There are other utilities out there that allow for similar functionality, however Reflector is stable, reliable, and full featured. I've also used AirParrot and DropStream from Squirrels, and have been overall impressed with them as a company and their other products.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A large part of my work is instructional. Using reflector, I'm able to more clearly illustrate what it is that I'm attempting to communicate. I also want my students to better understand how to use certain resources they have at their disposal. This is one of the easiest ways to show them how other pieces of software function.

  ### 14. It is one of the best app of mirroring for Android and Mac devices.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay N. | Sr. IT Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Yeah there are many thing to say about the advantages of this but i will mention some of them
1. Its main feature of wireless screen mirroring with one or more devices of any type to computer.
2. We can record any mirrored device over voice and audio
3. I am able to my mirror my android device to computer simultaneously.
4. One more thing i like that it offers the free trial so that we can decide whether it is best to you or not.
5. And the main is it is compatible with more the devices and computer

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

There is nothing more to say about dislike but following are some .
1. Compare to other similar product its cost is more if there were able to minimize it hence there sell will definitely improve.
2 One more thing is that some of the feature will require specific operation system like we can say in recording function .
3.Many of the reflector feature is can be available in free software there were need to maintain more accuracy than others
4. Streaming on various platform is might be limited for the user

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

As I can recommend it other user but want to say that there they need to add some additional feature than free software so that user can able to purchase this software in your price

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of the use in business view.
1. We can be able to make the mirror image of mobile devices to office system so that there no need to make my physical connection.
2. One incident in my office that there were some seminar need to conducted by me but there were not any type of physical connection that can be made in mobile and system that i was able to make the connection of mobile PC smoothly

  ### 15. R3 an alternative more.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer J. | Programmer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

I'll talk a little about R3.
The configuration process was simple and the application was ready to use on my device instantly, that I loved.

It is also not necessary to install any software on the mobile device, since it uses the screen sharing and transmission functions that are already part of the operating system, another point in its favor.

There are a lot of things that make R3 much more useful than a simple screen projection tool.

One is that you can transmit your mobile devices simultaneously on your PC with Windows and Mac. In addition, one can capture the performance of your screen and add narration or audio if necessary

For example, for people who try software or websites on different mobile devices, it is also useful to be able to have multiple devices on your computer without relying on emulation.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Although it seems like a perfect application to use, there are still some weaknesses. Relatively, it is more expensive compared to other similar applications and some features require a specific operating system, such as the recording function that is only for iOS.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

If you need to project a mobile device screen into a computer, then R3 is an elegant way to do it.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used it many times to get rid of that weight of having to use an adapter for my iPhone in the previews.

  ### 16. Student Review on Reflector 3

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mansi D. | Mansi Dogra, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

The best thing that I love about Reflector 3 is how easy it is to mirror my screen during class presentations. As a journalism major, I took classes that required to have public speaking skills and Reflector 3 just makes it easier. It also records any mirrored device and could add voice-over audio and customize recording when needed.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Reflector 3 takes time to connect sometimes. There are some minor glitches in the program but once it connects, it works absolutely fine.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

I totally recommend others to use this tool because it's the best one in the market. It can wirelessly mirror one or more devices of any type to your computer. It can also record any mirrored device. Add voice-over audio and customize recording when needed. The device control is amazing as it
Emphasize, hide or show devices and select device frames all from one central location. Moreover, you never have to worry about security. All of that and they also give u a trial period of a week and more so one never end up losing money.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool helps us project mobile device screens in classrooms and it also prevents unwanted connections and restricts access to only those who should be mirroring.

  ### 17. Great if you have a strong WiFi Connection

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex L. | Freelance Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

The mirror imaging is a great solution for anyone trying to add another screen or share something for a presentation; fairly easy to use and setup! The quality is also very good once everything is setup. Very minimal lag, if any, compared to other products I tried. I would highly suggest doing a trial because it's definitely worth a try!

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Like most other mirrors, if the connection is at all a little weak, then it won't work. I wish there was some backup via bluetooth or a similar alternative. However, this is not a dealbreaker.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Would be nice if there was an alternative or backup if the connection is poor. Probably the biggest thing I personally noticed was how responsive the new version is. With earlier versions, I always felt that there was a slight lag in operation over a Wi-Fi network - doing something on an iOS device was reflected on the Mac just a fraction of a second later. Now there's no visible lag at all, making the app perfect for just about any situation you might want to use the app for.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reflector 3 is helping me use other devices as mirroring screens which is useful for streaming or a second screen for another team member.

  ### 18. Best tool for what was needed at the time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander M. | Assistant IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

It worked rather simply, intuitive and easy to hand off to users with minimal instructions.
Compatibility outside the Mac ecosystem is always a plus, especially when needing to work with other applications to solve a business need, as was necessary in our use case (see below). Licensing is pretty clear and relatively flexible.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Security is always a concern and this application falls in a grey area as a far as security is concerned. It requires a decent amount of permissions and the developer isn't entirely well known. So that might be a worry to organizations who require locked down systems. I was a bit hesitant at first (I had used prior versions of the applications, and it was even more dubious back then). Also this application is a one-off, so if there is every a reflector 4 you will need to purchase that as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

It does what it claims to, and rather seamlessly at that. I can't attest to support as I never needed their help.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This application was used as a band-aid type fix that we had concerning video conference screen sharing. The app we needed to use to show our mock ups for some reason could not be displayed over the screen sharing app we had on our iPad. So we purchased Reflector 3 to mirror the entire iPad onto a PC that then could host the entirety of the meeting we were having. It allowed for a more seamless transition from presentation to training within the actual app itself.

  ### 19. Transfer your screen from your iOS, Mac or PC device.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan J. J. | Freelance web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

It is very easy to configure and is compatible with Mac, iOS and PC, guaranteeing compatibility. It is ideal for sharing online games on a large screen. It offers video editing options.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The version of Windows is different from the versions of Mac, it lacks some functions but they are not of much importance.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

It really pays to pay for the premium version as features such as uploading content directly to YouTube increase. It is very affordable and easy to use.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This application is very useful in the educational system, especially to share knowledge through tutorials, with tremendous versatility. There are no limits to the number of devices that can be connected.

  ### 20. Good to show customer your phone screen during demo

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franco I. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

used reflector to show mobile app to potential customers. was able to show on screen share, so that customers could get a guided walkthrough of how they could utilize app in their everyday business transactions.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Reflector seemed to crash from time to time. sometimes the initial cast to the computer screen would take a while. there was also never a clear way to disable.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

It is a good tool to use in order to add more detail to a sales presentation that includes an app showcase. not always intuitive, but overall, it was easy to use.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we used it to demo the mobile app. the benefits were the ability to show and demo the app during the sales consultation. this increased interest in the platform we were offering and helped the customer visualize how they could utilize our mobile app and the value it added.

  ### 21. Perfect for Video Tutorials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim B. | Director of Compliance Learning, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

This software is an absolute gem for creating online content - it's easy to capture anything on my phone. I use it to show processes on a phone in video tutorials. It's fast, easy, and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The one thing I think could improve more is adding the formats the video can be exported in, but what it has now do absolutely fine for most use cases.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a fast, easy way to capture my screen on my phone and easily move it into my video editing software. This is far easier than recording on my phone, sending the video to my desktop, etc.

  ### 22. Intuitive and powerful Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

This is the second version of Reflector that I have had, as I also used Reflector 2. My company is a healthcare documentation and communication platform that has mobile applications on the iPhone and Android and Reflector works perfectly when giving a demo, providing training, or making a video.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Reflector does have some issues with unsecure networks or networks that have a web-browser login.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is a healthcare documentation and communication platform that has mobile applications on the iPhone and Android and Reflector works perfectly when giving a demo, providing training, or making a video. Reflector allows us to show critical mobile components of our product in a way that can be easily viewed.

  ### 23. Looks cool but connection stability can be an issue.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrzej K. | Sales Development Representative, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

My favorite thing about this tool is being able to connect and reflect your phone on your screen with an iPhone shell around it. This is very useful in demos as it gives the viewer a better idea of what an app would look like on their phone.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The reality that connections are not always 100% stable and it is possible the tool will disconnect during a demo.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

A good tool if you're looking to go wireless. If you are in the office I would stick to QuickTime. I have seen this go poorly live a few times because of wifi connectivity issues.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to showcase your app wirelessly and with the appearance of an iPhone shell around the screen on your desktop.

  ### 24. Great to share your iPhone screen onto your computer screen!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elaine W. | Course creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Saved the day! I used it for my Udemy Course on Siri and Shortcuts, where I had to show my iPhone screen on my computer to record it. Easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

It worked well for me. I think maybe once I couldn't connect.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am teaching a course on Siri and Shortcuts for Udemy. I needed to show my iPhone screen and record it on my Mac, so I have videos of the step by step instructions. I investigated how to do this for quite some time and then choose Reflector.

  ### 25. Reflector is a nice tool in a School

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JOEL M. | IT/Tech Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

We've had certain teaching elements and moments where reflector is awesome for showing students things on the projector screen. We simply just use it as a doc cam in our classrooms. And it works great for that.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

We've yet to find an iPad stand that works well. So it has nothing to do with the app itself, it is more to do with limitations in using a tablet as a doc cam.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely the lack of actual doc cams in each room, every teacher here has an iPad and reflector at their disposal, so we are definitely solving that issue as well as enjoying the benefits of using reflector for teaching.

  ### 26. Simply love it!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Reflector is very easy to use and does not require a complicated set up. Once you get the hang of it makes presenting your presentation a breeze and being cloud-based you can literally reach your audience in the same room or wherever they are. A huge plus is its compatibility across devices. We've had no issues connecting with the various devices that our team has. That's a great bonus that we did not anticipate. Additionally you can record which has proven invaluable in the event someone misses the presentation or an individual would like to refer back.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

I truly have no complaints. Any hiccup, 9 times out of ten can be troubleshooted by searching on a blog.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an easy way tomato videos and step our presentations, Reflector allows us to do this in an extremely cost effective way.

  ### 27. Decent way to share your iphone/ipad for meetings and demos.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Easy to connect and show the mobile applications you are demoing on calls.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The UI looks a little outdated with the "fake phone" model that wraps the screen. Could look better in the future to be more powerful during demos.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Find more value adds, I got to use it for a short while. Some team members use it still. But I switched off to just using quick time to display mobile devices on the mac screen.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping showcase the mobile application capability that expands our desktop software to be able to help mobile users (sales reps) in the fields.

  ### 28. a good reflex application for android even IOS.

It is useful to share the screen with the computer, as well as how easy it is to configure, practice to reflect the screen of the smartphone on the computer.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

The connection can sometimes be lost leaving the presentations in pause that it takes a weakness that must be corrected promptly.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Recommended for its functions and how useful it can be in your daily work life.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The use that I give is not so frequent because of the nature of my business, however I have done the test to use it in small web conferences.

  ### 29. Amazing Phone Mirroring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew V. | IT Helpdesk Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

I love how easy and quick this is to set up and how smooth the screen flow is when using my phone and reflecting on the screen. This has helped greatly in making help articles for setting up stuff on employees phones.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

I wish that i could control my phone with my mouse. This would make it easy to show people where to click and make the flow easier. I know it may be an apple issue and not Reflector's issue.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a good reliable program for Helpdesk and Mobile dev to use to test, view, and share the phone apps and mobile sites that we are working on.

  ### 30. My Goto Tool for Presentations

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Crypto Philanthropy Education Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

Being able to mirror my iPhone screen to my Mac during a presentation is essential when doing a how-to webinar.

If you need to mirror your smartphone to your computer for a presentation, there is no other option besides Reflector 3.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

Ease of use. It's so easy to use Reflector3 on the fly when I'm running late or didn't know I would need to mirror my mobile device.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Not a whole lot to put here. I occasionally have issues getting my mobile device to appear as a connectable option when Reflector3 is turned on, but usually I can just refresh Reflector3 and the device will appear.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my job, I have to do a lot of trainings and product demonstrations of our mobile apps. There is nothing worse than losing my screencast in the midst of a demo. Reflector3 Has never let me down and provides clean quality throughout. It makes it easy to show clients exactly how our software works.

  ### 33. Tough to start, but then pretty clear and fast!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Reflector?**

After some issues with setup and learning how the thing works, the stream is super clear, with low latency.

**What do you dislike about Reflector?**

Again, the UI is not intuitive so I had problems setting it up and learning how to actually get into a session.

**Recommendations to others considering Reflector:**

Just take some time to get to know it, and it will prove useful. It is surprising how many times you want to show a single screen to a group, and with a small phone it is not so easy.

**What problems is Reflector solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am in a meeting and wish to show something on my phone in the room. Also good to project the behavior of a bug for our app.
