**What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

Very little, unfortunately. The only positive I can point to is that RealGreen by WorkWave is a well-known platform and, in theory, offers a wide range of features across sales, scheduling, and billing.

However, in my experience, those features are not practical for a small, owner-operated business. What initially appears to be a robust system quickly becomes difficult to use, with excessive steps required for even basic tasks. The platform seems designed for large companies with multiple departments, not for someone managing all aspects of the business.

The concept may be appealing on the surface, but the actual usability and day-to-day functionality did not meet expectations.

I absolutely despise their customer service now that Workwave has purchased Real Green.  They are difficult to get ahold of and then they are short and condescending to you!!!!!  I have been with Real Green for 30 yrs and the change after Workwave is horrific.   If you are a small company trying to pick a new company,  DO NOT choose anything with Workwave associated with it, you will regret it.  Costly, confusing and rude is what you will receive

**What problems is RealGreen by WorkWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are doing nothing other than what they want.  We had to figure it all on our own, while they collected money and sent bills.

Absolutely nothing.  We have used this product for years as we thought they would continue get better.  It has not.  I was very skeptical when I started at this company because I had experience with Workwave in the past.  As the office manager, I want a product that is easy to integrate with other software and easy to use for our guys.  THIS IS NEITHER

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

CUSTOMER SERVICE, CONTRACT POLICY.
Simply put, we wanted to keep the basic plan and reduce out the parts that we were not using.  They told me they could not help.  I barely got my rep on the phone

Truck Tracking can at times be slow and at times unreliable.

You can tell that RealGreen by WorkWave was designed with the green industry in mind, the system is very tailored to the needs of the green industry. I personally have been using RealGreen for 8 years and have noticed great improvements over the years- the software is easy to navigate. I personally like that the platform is now web based.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

Seems like everything is an extra cost, there are great resources to learn about the system but it would be nice to see classes - with quizzes to ensure people are learning from the resources. Customer Support can be a hit or miss, there have been times I've called and I was telling support what certain things do

**What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

The best thing about RealGreen is the customer support. They are tenacious in helping customers find a solution to whatever issues are going on with any of their products. They conveniently have a direct line to speak with a representative instead of being on hold for all eternity. I have never once had a problem that their customer support did not work diligently on getting resolved.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

MobileLive could contain more information and options for those using it in the field. If those options could allow them to take some of the office tasks, like adding a serivce to a customer's account, that would be extremely helpful.

**What problems is RealGreen by WorkWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an issue with how customers pay online. In this economy, it is difficult for some customers to pay for more than one invoice at a time. I let the customer support know and although it took a while, they solved the problem. I really appreciated that.

For our industry, there isn't much that can't be done on RealGreen. It is user friendly and easy to navigate.The customer support team is also very helpful and knowledgeable when I cannot figure it out on my own.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

I dislike the new feauture of having to log in to acess the help files. I used them often and seem to always have issues with the new requirement. I cannot get logged in and do  not know where the information I need to log in (password) is to find as I have never created one and anything I have tried does not work.

As the times change, RealGreen stays on top of things by adding new features to keep up. Nothing in specific but most everything in general.

RealGreen is a simple system to use. It is easy to find everything you are looking for, which makes it even easier to train people on the system, which is always appreciated. I can do on Real Green in one step, things that take multiple steps to complete on other systems I've used.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

We used Service Autopilot prior to RealGreen and I find their email process much better. Estimates go out immediately and their system shows when an email is opened by the customer.

**What problems is RealGreen by WorkWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The routing is much easier to use than our previous system. I also find the entering of new customers/programs much easier than it was with the old system. I would say this has helped me by saving me some time.

**What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

I have already learned some really interesting points of the technology that I have not known since I began using this software almost 9years. Learning about the quick add feature for programs on leads that we have sold but not activated a program will greatly reduce our time entering in contracts so that is exciting. Also learning about the post service photo feature will help reduce callbacks and calls in general from customers saying we did not do a certain house if we have a photo show track marks on the lawn. Very easy to implement the software for people who have hardly used it to people with years of experience.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

Some of the information seems very basic as I have been using this system across SA4 and SA5. Would rather have some speakers go into more depth about certain areas of the general aspects rather than a 1 hour church of time. Customer support is not always the best at answering questions or have very slow response time. Not as easy to integrate for  absorbing customer salesman from another company via acquisition especially if they have not been frequent users of the software.

Allowing us to better track our program and where we are at and when we are selling and making sure certain jobs are skipped due to time of the year.

Ease of use, once you get to learn the system. Everything is only a few clicks away. Their are plenty of different features to help customize your business to the way you want to do things!

It can be a bit to learn when you're new, in that aspect it can seem intimidating. The customer support team is superb and can help with any questions though.

Everything. Keeping things organized, setting parameters for different customers or jobs. Routing communication... the problems being solved by using real green could go on and on.

It's a very powerful and comprehensive software that ties together our entire work flow from lead generation to billing and everything in-between.

It's an extremely powerful software which makes the learning curve steep. Sometimes, tech support can't provide me with an answer or solution to the question I have but I'm able to figure the answer out once I've become more experienced as a user.

The platform is easy to use as well as to train new people on.  It works the best for app based services. Has a mobile platform that is great as well as integrates right with the program. Has a tool for online measurement that is super easy to use.

Some full service options we have are a little trickier to use the system with, however they do still work.

We transitioned from another well known CRM software years ago and initially the transition was very hard/cumbersome to use.  My account specialist worked with me to solve my issues and since doing so cannot imagine going back to another CRM software.  Scheduling work, completing the work and billing clients is incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

Biggest dislike of RealGreen is the cost and mobile app.  After marking a project complete, it takes far too long to update.

There are more and more expenses incurred from using the program, above what I would think are normal increases. Even prepay letter help is a paid service now if you need tech support.

**What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

I have been a Real Green user for 15+ years. SA5 is great! The training videos and learning center are very beneficial. Tech support has improved over the past few years. I like having the option to get a call or e-mail to resolve my issue. I like being able to send agreements directly from SA5 for customer signatures. Much more efficient than the way we were sending them previously.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

Reports in SA5 are difficult to navigate. Please find a way to take front-view pics of the houses in Measure Assistant. I also would like to be able to text agreements and payment links to my customers.
Quick fit scheduling takes a long time to load the mao and can be frustrating when you are on the phone with a customer trying to schedule a service for them.

**What problems is RealGreen by WorkWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are more efficient in the office due to the integrations with payment processing, call aheads (TCN) and collections (APR). The training videos and online community make it easier to train new team members.

Some areas we cover have limited cell phone coverage, so difficult to use the app.  No offline mode to code until you come back to civilization.

**What do you like best about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

The folks at customer support are always very knowledgeable and patient.  I've leaned on their help many times and have rarely (if ever) been disappointed.  Truly top-notch professionalism and down-to-earth helpfulness.

**What do you dislike about RealGreen by WorkWave?**

It's not so much something that I dislike as it is something I'm just not thrilled with. I think SA-5 is cumbersome and not very intuitive.  Every function seems to require multiple steps that are not necessarily obvious or intuitive. I spent 37 years of my career working the hospitality at various hotels in numerous positions.  I transitioned to the green industry a couple of years ago.  I was very used to property management systems (particularly over the past 15-17 years) that were VERY user-friendly and intuitive.  I guess I was spoiled by those systems that seemed much more user-friendly and guest/customer friendly.  After all, if a system is slow or 'bumpy' it will slow down the process and make for an operation that is not as smooth running or efficient.

**What problems is RealGreen by WorkWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The scheduling/routing tool is solid and provides a fairly simple process to maximize time, money, energy and ultimately, revenue.  The billing side of things is just not a fun experience.  Too many steps to do everything and not intuitive.  It makes customer interactions with customers less smooth and efficient, and sometimes more stressful than they should be.  It seems the estimate creation tool is not clearly explained and therefore has not been an effective tool for us.

I like the fact that they are always striving to improve and listen to their users.

Sometimes updates and feature requests can take a while to come out. The accounting portion is a bit clunky. It would be nice to have a statement to send a customer with basic debits and credits and not so many adjustments.

Realgreen had really helped in reporting and sending out mass messages and emails to my clients.

The MOST helpful tool is the link at the bottom where you can put in a ticket for technical support.  The response time is always decent and the Techs are very helpful and patient.  The ability to use that link has helped me understand the system well.

Still learning a lot about it all.  Haven't found too many downfalls yet.  There are a lot of screens that we have to click through always and repeat steps in but other than that is is user friendly.

Sa5 is good but other services are substandard and commitments are not honored.  Response from company is lacking.  They literally attempt to nickel and dime you out of business.   Honesty and integrity is also an issue.  In addition I had to return to this review because it required a screen shot because you don't trust me.

Very easy to set up a new customer, easily search for a customer. Personaly any time that I have had to call in for support 9 out of 10 times some one could assist me right then, otherwise it maigh take a day or two.

Geocoding needs to be more accurate, if address is put into system and at times it can not geocode at all, slecting postal code will help a bit at times, but if we plug in the address into google maps we get a almost spot on location and then we just have to edit the gecoding to correct it in the system.

routing of techs and jobs, tracking techs and areas they are. Reports are good.

The learning material is out of date.  Roll outs of new configuration has bugs so it doesn't look like there is much UA done.  Customer service is not very knowledgable.

Problems?  Not sure there are any problems they are solving.  It's more like they are providing a CRM service for our customers that has other functionality that helps us market, route and collect payments.

It's great for marketing. Works well for customers with multiple services. Routing is pretty easy.

Billing, even though the customers can be "linked" together for mailing statements, when the master account has a credit card or Ach payment set up it will not automatically pay the attached accounts.  Statements are convoluted and Installment invoices don't clearly show what you are paying for.

keeping track of all our customers services, when they are due to be serviced, balance due, etc.

Since WORKWAVE acquired RealGreen, the customer experience has deteriorated significantly.  It seems we are now treated as a NUMBER vs a business partner.

The software since going online has some upside, the performance is much worse (glitches) and service is poor as I am now expected to do my own I T work when a problem occurs not of my doing! Not pleased that the price is going up almost 10% for poor service.

When working properly it sped up monthly statements, but I can no longer do that as there has been an unresolved glitch I can not fix in the email portion & not receiving help!

They can do mail out marketing; emailing customers individualized pricing is doable.

The customer service is the worst. They don't care about you, at all. The training is insane, short snippet videos where you can't even read the words. For as complex of a system as this is to set up, better training is essential. I called so many times to get help and still ended up with more of a mess than I would have liked. Why did I even have to call SO MANY TIMES? So we let our contract expire (had to fight for weeks to get our data to convert to another program)....asked just to get a copy of our pricing tables and they told us NO unless we wanted to sign another contract. Then payments ran for a few days after our contract was up. Put in a call to billing and a tech support ticket and got CRICKETS for 4 months. Finally sent a smarmy email and got a call back today from a women still defending the charges, claiming they didn't charge a monthly fee (which they did). It's not worth the fight. They will not be helpful in any regard whatsoever, which is a hard pill to swallow considering they're twice as expensive as the program we use now. So, I decided to review them EVERYWHERE and let everyone know. RUN AWAY FROM REALGREEN!!!!

I like the partnerships with different platforms like captivated and service bot. I have been utilizing texting services a lot more and SA5 makes it easy to send mass or individual text. I wish it would make an automatic call log for text messages sent and received in the client's account. Texting has been a game changer for sales.

The new work wave payment processing platform is difficult to navigate. That transition has been very smooth or easy to understand. The webinar about the new payment platform was not to helpful. Im finding it difficult to make sure transactions are going through now that everything is done from SA5. It has also been difficult to get good customer service on these issues.

Keeping up with the changing needs and forms of communication the clients want. For example texting and automated emails. Auto pay has helped keep our past due payments down as well.
