## About RBackup
RBackup Remote Backup Software works like regular data backup software, but with one important difference. Instead of sending backups to a tape drive or other media attached to the computer it is backing up, RBackup online backup software sends the backup over the Internet or other network connections to your online backup server safely offsite.

## RBackup Reviews
  ### 1. 100% recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about RBackup?**

Support is second to none. I dont care how good the software is; you will need support and these guys care.

**What do you dislike about RBackup?**

There is not much to dislike, there are a couple software updates I would like to see and I know they are working on a couple of them like faster upload speeds ect.

**What problems is RBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I backup clients systems, and they supply the backup software

  ### 2. Have been doing customer back ups from 2000 until 2016 when I closed my IT company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about RBackup?**

The compression ratio, the security levels, easy restore

**What do you dislike about RBackup?**

The original mirror server had a few issue but that was in 2005 or there a bout

**What problems is RBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My biggest client was the local airport. I had to verify annually for the TSA and Homeland security. No flaws & always passed the inspection

  ### 3. RBackup is fantastic data backup software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about RBackup?**

RBackup is although a data backup software but I found it extraordinary. It has helped us a lot in data backup. Data security has always been my concern and after using this software I am quite relaxed and I found it extraordinary from other usual backup software, that it doesn’t work like regular software as it sends the backup over the internet. We have found it as a complete package that is full of diverse features and it provides automated and secure backups. Plus it is quite easy to use and is simple software enriched with loads of features for data safety. Now we don’t need to get worried about data protection as RBackup is a wonderful software that is facilitating us in all possible manners.

**What do you dislike about RBackup?**

To initiate this software it needs to be understood well and there isn’t any special “how to use” option and it took me some time to master it and once I mastered it I found it easy and also unsupportive for cellphones.

**What problems is RBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it and have found it as a very useful software for data backups and after its redesigning, it is now working at the rate which is 8times faster than its previous speed of scanning various files, and hence it has made things time-saving and efficient for us.

  ### 4. Good Choice for Online and Local Backup of Small Biz Customers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch R. | Managing Partner, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2018

**What do you like best about RBackup?**

Supports both online file backup and local image backup from same client software. Extremely feature rich once you get beyond the basics. Ability to customize backups to client needs (retention, multiple backup sets, scheduled jobs). Will scale nicely as your client count grows. We currently support 2,600+ endpoints using multiple servers. 99% of backups run flawless each night. Don't ever recall not being able to get customer's data back - provided they actually had the data selected in the client configuration.

**What do you dislike about RBackup?**

Because of all the features, there is a significant learning curve required in order to master this product. It was completely redesigned from the bottom up in 2016 and now scans files/folder 8x faster than before including most unicode filenames...but you will need test extensively to master needed skills. This is an MSP-targeted product, no end user.

**Recommendations to others considering RBackup:**

Client-Server Implementation. Can master the basics quickly, but powerful tool if you learn how to use advanced features and best practices. Test this product out in your own lab or on your own PC to learn how to configure with live clients. Offsite backups are file-based. Image backup is local only. Both are targeted at SMB clients with modest workloads.

**What problems is RBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small business backup service. We currently provide online backup services for over 2,600 endpoint devices.

  ### 5. Think Twice

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2015

**What do you like best about RBackup?**

Nice simplistic interface - great for end users especially if you look at retailing a backup service. Lots of granularity to configure the software and the ability to purchase permanent licenses

**What do you dislike about RBackup?**

In no particular order
1. For a product that's been around since 1987 in 2015, it seems as if the product is more beta than a full release
2. Purchased software in April to convert just over a dozen customers to a 'better' backup solution. It's November and I only have nine customers converted over, two have tickets open since close to April; b/c of this, I hesitate converting more clients over
3. support not available by phone at all...sales should have been straight about this when I was evaling the software, instead support is 99% done by email update and ticket's on their website with their techs, when needed, remote connecting onto client systems to figure out (imho bugs) why backup sets keep hanging
4. constant back and forth with support to upload log files, install 'updated' exe files to have the same issue occur again, upload log files, etc..
5. support portal that just does not seem to be up-to-date; constantly confused about 'support' to access from their web site to find out that's not the one that's updated
6. reporting feature on the server that has a bug in it

list goes on

**Recommendations to others considering RBackup:**

Look at other solutions where you can purchase backup licenses outright, hopefully you'll have more time to test out the software fully before making a change.

**What problems is RBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

backups for clients

Benefits when backups are successful is that we can test restoration of data and give daily reports to our clients which helps us out with referrals for more business

  ### 6. Think before you commit to Purchasing and demo all avenues

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jason z. | Network Technician, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2015

**What do you like best about RBackup?**

The one time price you pay for the users. This helps with not paying a monthly residual

**What do you dislike about RBackup?**

I was not happy with the level of customer service that i had. At the beginning they were great but it seemed as if it took almost 3 - 4 days to resolve. I switched to this solution for the fact that i could call, however that quickly diminished and you were almost forced to email back and forth. I ended up with storagecraft and am very happy with this.

**Recommendations to others considering RBackup:**

Demo the hell out of this program. I had problems with Email log flushings, sql logs and System states. In my opinion the only thing this is good for is file backup, and if you want to restore a file, be careful as it will take forever.

**What problems is RBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?**
