The best one is easy of RAVE EDC-RAVE CTMS integration. The real time sync of data helps the Project Team to access the most up to date data directly in CTMS. I also like the Protocol Deviation reporting capability of Medidata CTMS. **What do you dislike about Rave CTMS?** If I tell you truly, I have not find anything which I can dislike at all in RAVE CTMS. **What problems is Rave CTMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ease of set-up; meeting timelines for going live with RAVE EDC; ease of access to real time data; real time Protocol Deviation management; I am solving all this with Medidata CTMS. Recently, due to Protocol Deviation reporting capability within Medidata CTMS, our project team was able to successfully lock a Phase 3 Oncology Project well on time. ### 4. Access to all of my Medidata studies is in one location upon logging in. The EDC portion is to each subject CRF flows smoothly. Queries are clear and easy to find. **What do you dislike about Rave CTMS?** After using for several years, most of the issues I have is just with understanding the CRF entry guidelines and correcting non-conformant data. **Recommendations to others considering Rave CTMS:** Training is easy and being able to use it across multiple studies definitely is a plus due to the decrease in training time involved. I love that I can sign in and access all studies in one location. **What problems is Rave CTMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data entry goes smooth and takes less time to enter. Very easy to navigate on a page using the keyboard, which optimizes time spent entering data. **What do you dislike about Rave CTMS?** I would prefer there be a provision for entering query responses for system generated queries. Sometimes it makes things difficult, not having a response box for those. **Recommendations to others considering Rave CTMS:** Definitely the best CTMS system at the moment, much better in comparison with others in the market. Very convenient, and the preferred choice of most organizations initiating clinical studies. **What problems is Rave CTMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using Medidata to enter patient clinical data for Phase 1 clinical trials. I have realized that the benefits presented here are enormous: easy data entry, a reliable source/repository for data from multiple sites for multiple patients, easy data extraction and export, great customizable reports and dashboards especially for query tracking and management. ### 15. The visual design of the interface is a sea of white, and data entry can be difficult to do accurately because of this. **What problems is Rave CTMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Medidata to manage data capture for several ongoing major clinical trials. ### 18. And the main training applies to all new studies! **What do you dislike about Rave CTMS?** The query method for medidata is frankly annoying, and clicking out of it is hard. **Recommendations to others considering Rave CTMS:** Medidata is generally good for an EDC platform, it's not my favorite for user interface, but it's not overly confusing either. The CRFs are laid out simply, you don't miss sections that need to be filed in, the queries are annoying but you don't need to go through a whole ordeal routing them back to the correct person, which is so cumbersome. Support team is not great, you wait on the phone for hours and usually there are issues that neither Data Management (the sponsor) or the actual tech people can fix without each other and somehow sites get in the middle and have to figure out something that wasn't their problem to begin with. I think they require you to change your password every 3 months, which is frustrating but also good for security purposes if that's something that you need. I focus mostly on EDC so other aspects of Medidata I'm less familiar with, all in all it's a good EDC platform. **What problems is Rave CTMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sponsor's pick the EDC platform, but not using paper CRF's is amazing. ### 19. Some issues are mentioned in their initial training, however, the specific details and ramifications and also the potential cost to you for a work-around "fix", are not discussed at that time. **Recommendations to others considering Rave CTMS:** Medidata - Rave can be static and remain in "their ways" rather than going above and beyond to satisfy their customers/clients. Maybe this is only our experience as we are not a super-major user, and probably one of the "smaller" customers they have. We have had to pay for several issues/fixes which the company confirms are "known issues". **What problems is Rave CTMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Large studies, projects, and studies with multiple sites and global sites are now being data managed within Rave.
