What do you like best about Rackspace Managed Services?

For years and years they were as reliable as a rock - no problems. While somewhat expensive for simple email, the speed was fast and the support was great. That, however, was in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rackspace Managed Services?

They've recently requested a near-400% price increase, suggesting they're 50% better than the low-tier Google Workspace plan with a fraction of the functionality. Additionally, since their catastrophic ransomware hack, the service is an absolute shell of itself. The Chat Support, when it is needed most, is completely missing. Even their static email support page doesn't work 80% of the time. They send reminders about tickets that are closed. If email was easy to switch, I would have already moved. What do you like best about Rackspace Managed Services?

Professional service team has a very systematic approach with good escalation options and SLA system. There was less dead time in the engagement phase, we were receiving proper communication even from higher teams. Plan of action is upto the mark and engineering wing is really supportive 24*7. What do you dislike about Rackspace Managed Services?

Customers are expecting more use cases in future to better understand the cloud business and its scope. Similarity in team names and services sometimes creates confusion in approaching correct team. What do you like best about Rackspace Managed Services?

Their support team is just a phone call away, with a security layer when you call with a secret question that only you would know makes their technical helpline one of the best that I know. They have many different service levels and products available to use, and you can pick and choose which ones you wish to subscribe to per month. Setting new products up and getting contracts written and signed is very easy to do, and they explain all about the service you are interested in purchasing so that you know all the pros and cons before you make a decision. They promise 99.9% uptime, add that to their monitoring service and this is certainly true to form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rackspace Managed Services?

They are slightly pricey so I think that their managed services offerings might be more aimed at business users. However their cloud services can be relatively cheap, but their servers might be out of the range of a normal end user. - The affordability of the solution

- The reliability of the service. We've been using the service for a few years now and it's always worked well for us. Essentially set it and forget it.

- The email notifications alerting us to anything we need to look into

What do you like best about Rackspace Managed Services?

Rackspace is very good in Technical support but it is $500 per month. It is very easy to build a new server in Rackspace and we also can configure our requirements by itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rackspace Managed Services?

The support is very expensive. Even the Technical support is only support which services they know. I give you one example, one of our clients need Postgres conf on the Rackspace servers, I conversate with the support but they told me, you can do by yourself if something wrong happens to your servers, only you are the responsible person for that particular server.
