"Easier to use platform and service"

What do you like best about QAD EQMS?

We enjoyed the ease of use on the platform and the customer service aspect the CEBOS division of QAD provided. CEBOS provided us with the insight of our global manufacturing division and provided proactive solutions issues we are coming across in the manufacturing side. What do you dislike about QAD EQMS?

Currently do not have any issues with the CEBOS product or team. They provided the best customer service and product to overdelivery our needs. Currently do not have a plan with then currently ever since a competitor provided a better rate . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD EQMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

CEBOS provided us with the insight of our global manufacturing division and provided proactive solutions issues we are coming across in the manufacturing side. Our business performance and efficency increased by 1.5x while we used the CEBOS product. We appreciate the insight it gave but a compeitor gave us a better price. "QAD is somewhat inflexible but does its job decently well."

What do you like best about QAD EQMS?

The app builder is far and beyond the best feature of QAD. I don't know if its standard in CEBOS but its allows for more flexible creation of applications for data management and communications. I wish it did some stuff better but its decent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD EQMS?

The project management team is great but a little less responsive than i would like. They've gone above and beyond with some items but tend to revert back to dropping communication what i would consider frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

make sure you get a few folks to run the project that have the power to authorize customizations if you don't plan to do things OOB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD EQMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

QAD CEBOS is how we manage supplier compliance and quality issues. Its a good tool that can be skinned to match our company but does not really make the most flexible tool if your quality processes aren't industry standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Configurability without requiring a trained programmer.

The Documents Module allows very quick record creation and retrieval

The gauge module provides very good capabilities and functionality. It was fairly easy to train on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD EQMS?

APQP reports were not functional in the Silverlight version we purchased

Setup via loadsheets for APQP was not established and highly problematic

Miscellaneous process bugs causing serious problems with some modules including the Training module.

The CAPA module was not configurable enough to make it useful for us so we stopped using it.

Overlays/header & footer in PDF's generated by documents is poor and not configurable to what we desire such as auto-inserted print date Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering QAD EQMS:

Validate all modules and reports are functioning before full acceptance.

Ensure there's a method to migrate your data into CEBOS especially manual data before commiting

Train your users on one module at a time and only based on their roles Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD EQMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Needed a single consolidate QMS to house all of our processes. CEBOS provided that. We also needed a system that would add structure and standardization to our various processes including Document Management, Audits, CAPA and NCR's, Gauge, APQP and Training.

We now have global access to records from all of our plants. We have the ability to export data for analysis and all of this can be done fairly quickly.

After CEBOS we were able to track and document our calibrations of our gauges and pull reports accordingly for internal and external audits. Customers were happy with what we demonstrated to them.

The company developed the ability to stay on top of documents due to review via the built-in workflow. Emails are sent directly from CEBOS to notify when documents are due, past due, rejected, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD EQMS?

Dashboard widgets made it easy to review important document change information at a glance. Admins can monitor items across multiple processes with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Effective usability of this software was limited to power-users and administrators. System navigation was not intuitive enough for infrequent users to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD EQMS?

I like the ease of having real time KPI's as well as the lack of constant repeats of data entry. Because we are always doing the same thing over and over we have had less errors with data entry with this management system in place, plus it makes everything uniform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD EQMS?

I don't have anything I dislike, other than not being able to link our Maine location to this system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD EQMS?

Slow to log in, slow to refresh results when sorting or searching within results, buggy, poor external integration, Language support is poor and doesn't work well. Outputs of some modules don't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fully test the module you intend to purchase and get in writing the list of features and requirements met. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD EQMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Document Management: simplified approval workflow and tracking changes

Audit management: Schedule and manage audits

Training and skill tracking management: Haven't been able to successfully use this module as bugs kept wiping out key data in our records.

APQP: Couldn't use this as we couldn't load our lists and also module too buggy and outputs don't work so it's useless

Gauge Management: Able to schedule calibrations and track history of gauges.

Equipment Management: Haven't been able to use because CEBOS discontinued this module.

Non-conformance: While it helped to document non-conformances, it complicated the process and didn't allow configurability as desired Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
