"Clean Dashboard and Weekly Summaries Make AI Visibility Easy to Track"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

the best part of profound is that i am finally able to se e how we show up in AI answers. Before this tracking our visibility across the different models was basically me guessing most of it. I also like the weekly summary a lot because i can pull the key numbers fast without having to dig. It makes it simple to share updates with the team. The dashboard is clean and easy to read so i can get the key numbers fast without digging deep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

the reporting can take a little getting used to at first. theres a lot of data vailable and its not always obvious where to start. Especially when u are new to thinking about GEO as a metric. It would also be helpful to have ab it more context built into the dashboard explaining what's driving score changes, not just that they happened. Those are minor things though and havent gotten in the way of finding things useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Easy-to-Use Agents That Turn Insights Into Action"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound's agents are extremely helpful for brands who are unsure what to do after reviewing the data that Profound provides. The agents allow you to take action and distill the info into manageable data sets. We've used a number of AI tools and Profound is one of the most powerful. The user experience is strong, making the tool easy to use and easy to gauge how the tool improves your brand's AI visibility and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

It's rather expensive in comparison to other tools we've vetted but it does seem to have more insights and actionable agents than others. I'm also not sure how to integrate it with other data platforms like ahrefs - but that doesn't mean you can't! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very useful for understanding our presence in AI"
4/5
What do you like best about Profound?

We've been using Profound for a few months and the truth is that it has helped us quite a bit to understand how our brand appears in ChatGPT and other AIs. Before, it was all a bit of a "black box," and now we have much more visibility.

The interface is quite well made and it's not hard to find what you're looking for. What we value the most are the insights on prompts and competitors, because it gives you pretty clear ideas on where to improve. The performance is also good, we've never had any notable problems.

The onboarding was quick and the support team responds quite well when any questions arise. It's not a cheap tool, that must be said, but if you're betting on AI Search, I think it's worth it. There are still things that can be improved, especially some integrations, but overall the experience is being very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

If I had to say something, I would say that the price can be off-putting at first, especially if you are not a large company. There are also some features that take a little time to understand and certain integrations that could be more developed. Nothing serious, but there is still room for improvement in some details. "A great platform for tracking and boosting AI visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I like that we can check our visibility on AI platforms as well as when the engines cite the company. I also like that we can see the sentiment of the company on the internet to check what people are saying when they're talking about us. On top of that, I like the writing feature which automatically optimizes the article for AI. It's a great platform for any company which cares about their AI visibility. What do you dislike about Profound?

Nothing so far. It's a great tool in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Topical Tracking with Daily LLM Updates and Rapid Product Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound makes AI visibility tangible. You can track exactly where a brand shows up across AI-powered search experiences, which competitors are appearing, what prompts are driving those results, and which sources are being cited. The topical tracking with daily LLM updates is the standout feature for me, because AI rankings shift fast and you need to know when you've moved, not just where you started. The product iteration pace is also strong. It's not a static reporting tool. It's actually evolving into something that informs real workflow decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

It’s limited to a select number of LLMs. Given how rapidly the LLM landscape and market share are changing, it would benefit from broader visibility across the core LLMs, along with clearer insight into how they differ by model and at the country level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear AI Brand Visibility with Intuitive Dashboards and Actionable Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is its ability to provide clear visibility into how AI platforms and search experiences are mentioning and representing our brand. The platform makes it easy to track AI-generated responses across different models, identify trends, and understand where our content is being surfaced.

The dashboards are intuitive and save significant time compared to manually checking multiple AI tools to identify performance. I particularly value the visibility and citations features, which help our team quickly identify opportunities to improve content visibility and measure the impact of our optimization efforts.

One unexpected benefit has been discovering gaps in how AI systems understand our products and messaging. Those insights have helped us refine our content strategy and improve consistency across channels, making Profound an important part of our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

One area where Profound could improve is the depth of customization available in certain reports and dashboards. While the platform provides valuable insights out of the box, there are times when I'd like more flexibility in how data is segmented and visualized for different stakeholders.

That said, these are relatively minor concerns, and the platform continues to provide significant value for understanding and improving brand visibility across AI-powered search experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential AEO Tool with Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I find Profound very helpful for getting us visibility into where our clients rank for particular queries in the LLMs. This information and context are important input for our growth and awareness strategies, and our clients appreciate that we have this kind of tool at our disposal. Plus, it's an edge for us. We have not found a better solution out there for understanding and analyzing this increasingly critical channel. LLMs are a place we see people moving to, in terms of consumer behavior, consideration, and research, and has given us new ways to look at the customer journey and funnel. The setup process was very easy, especially with help from the Profound team to set up the basics up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Sometimes just getting to know where to find the information we need in the product can be a bit confusing. That gets better over time, the more comfortable we get with the product. Since the data points are new, since AEO as a strategy is new, there's just not a lot of habits built into where to look for certain things and how they're defined, and so it takes a bit of a learning curve to understand where to look for things and what certain terms mean in Profound definitions of them. "Exceptional Tool for Tracking and Strategic Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I think the customer support and the onboarding was great. The overall experience was really good. The prompt tracking and visibility scoring has been the most useful feature. The citation and share of voice data has also been really valuable for understanding which domain and content pieces are driving our mentions in AI's answers. It's really helped us be able to prioritize where to focus our content and PR efforts. The initial setup was extremely easy, and the platform is extremely feature rich. Despite a ramp-up period, the team was super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I think one thing that I've noticed internally might be reporting and exporting. Maybe frequency of data updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Actionable AI Search Visibility Insights with Powerful Competitor Analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound gives us valuable visibility into how brands and publishers appear across AI search platforms, which is becoming increasingly important as consumer discovery habits evolve. The insights are clear, easy to understand, and actionable, helping us make more informed decisions around content, partnerships, and overall strategy. The competitor analysis is thorough and enables us to conquest against other brands, rather than focusing only on our own activity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The biggest challenge is that the industry is still evolving, so it can be hard at times to directly connect AI visibility metrics with commercial performance. That said, Profound is helping to bridge that gap, and the speed of product development has been very encouraging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy AI Search Visibility Tracking with Deep-Dive Answer Records"
4/5
What do you like best about Profound?

One of Profound’s most valuable functions is its ability to track AI Search visibility, citations, and sentiment. The interface is also easy to navigate, even for beginners. For each prompt you track, you can review the record of every actual AI-generated answer, which is especially helpful when you want to do a deeper dive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There are two main issues for me. First, the Average Position Rank tracking is often flooded with brands I don’t want to see, either because I don’t consider them direct competitors or because they’re completely undefined assets. For example, I’ll see generic names like “Banks,” “A lenders,” or “Big 5 Banks” show up, rather than an actual brand name.

Second, if you run a business in Canada, the AI-generated answers being tracked might pull results from the US, which can affect how accurately your real performance is reflected. I wish there were a way to filter brands by country, so I could exclude US results and focus only on Canada-specific brands, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
