I like that it is easy to drag and drop models and orient them in PreForm. It is also easy to add support structures with the magic wand tool and visualize how the print will appear on the bed. It also allows for many different ways to customize the support structures and how the printer builds the layers. It also highlights areas where the build might fail, such as overhangs or intersecting models. I don't always find the support structures to be the best way to orient the part. Sometimes it makes the build take longer than necessary, and sometimes it can cause issues that cause the resin to spill out. It's not as automatic as it is supposed to be. There was an occasion when I was printing a spoon-like model and when it was nearly finished, the print would scoop up some of the resin and spill it out of the tray. It was a mess to clean up. this is the perfect software to print 3d models with form labs 3d printers. you can easily arrange multiple models in one set. you can even mark them with the number of the model and name etc. it is a very well designed and easy to use the application when it comes to 3d printing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
