"PowerPDF to edit PDFs easily"

What do you like best about Tungsten Power PDF?

I like that with PowerPDF I can edit PDFs. I can move objects around, as well as edit the text. I also really like that I can convert PDFs into other documents, such as Word or Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

I like PowerPDF a lot, but sometimes when converting, things are off, especially when converting a PDF to Excel format. Word usually is ok, unless there is text over a picture, then it has issues with that too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tungsten Power PDF?

The PDF business seems to be pretty clamped down so there are very few options available to the average user that just wants a good PDF reader/editor with basic features at a reasonable cost. It has some very nice features. There are a few bugs in it, where the really advanced features are concerned, but for most things it's perfectly fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

For the Power PDF standard version there is ZERO support. Not even access to the community forums etc and not even a login to their website. I called the support line, the agent continually interupted me midsentence and talked over me. This rude behaviour is becoming all too common, unfortunately. "Ditched the Monthly Fee and Got a Great PDF Program!"

What do you like best about Tungsten Power PDF?

This is such an incredible replacement for the more popular PDF editing program. The costs of the competition are astronomical, and this program does absolutely everything I need it to and more, and we don't have to pay either a giant one-time fee or a monthly fee to get it. It now integrates with a major document signature management system making my job even easier when preparing documents for clients. I can edit PDFs, create them, make notes on them, take measurements on plans. This was a significant cost-saving find, and we now have it on every computer in our office. What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

It's not quite as visually appealing as its competition, and it does take a bit more time to figure out how everything works, but once you do the sky is the limit. My biggest complaint, however, is the lack of support. If I do have a question, I am just directed to a help directory that is seriously lacking. I don't know how to get ahold of a human being that knows the program and can tell me how to do what I need to do. I don't have the time to sift through 50 help articles that may or may not be up to date, so usually, I just move on. That's my biggest frustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tungsten Power PDF solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have saved a ton of money by switching to the program. It has all of the features we need and we aren't paying more than we should be. Its simplicity once you get the hang of it keeps me productive, and I haven't really run into a problem that I can't solve with this program. What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

When editing large documents, Kofax software requires frequent saving, if not, consecutive edits may be lost. A good working practice is to save edits by the page instead of trying to edit the entire document then saving. The second issue is the support system is not that great. Responses to request do take some time and there are a few layers before you can get to a technician and be assisted. Like many software vendors they shift responsibility to the user to review written material or search community boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kofax enables document conversion from and to PDF, PDF editing, and security. The most significant benefit is cost, closely followed by ease of use. Standard PDF features are the major requirement, proprietary additions for encoding, etc. In a legal environment pdf editing and redaction are the primary uses. With it's awesome features we can edit pdf documents as per requirement. Not only pdf editing but we can merge multiple PDFs, split pdf, compress pdfs etc. We can print any document directly on power pdf printer and convert the output in pdf format.we can e-sign documents. What problems is Tungsten Power PDF solving and how is that benefiting you?

Most of the time we send quotation in pdf format. We need to edit pdf for rates, payment terms and conditions, etc frequently. Earlier it was difficult to edit PDFs.

Now with the help of power pdf we can edit text in pdf file. We can change page sequence, merge or split PDFs, compress pdf, etc.

We are now able to print output in pdf format directly from ERP. Earlier we had to print it on page and then scan it, which was very time consuming process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
