## Power ON Reviews
  ### 1. Pretty useful for business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aswini A. | Business Analyts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Power ON?**

Our business has been using this product for quite sometime now. Main highlight is their customer support. Over the years, we've had issues with application use, new installation etc. and they have responded quickly to all the queries. They even connected remotely and walked me through error resolution in their visual planner product, which we use for Power BI dashboard developing and reporting, even when we were on different time zones. The tool is easy to use once installed and avoids high maintenance as opposed to other applications for the same purpose.

**What do you dislike about Power ON?**

The application we use (Visual Planner) sometimes lags when dealing with large data. The load time of visuals is also high if the table has huge data.

**What problems is Power ON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use the visual planner which integrates as a custom power bi visual that allows users to interact with databases. This eliminates the need to create a separate application to interact with the database and other maintyenance associated with it.

  ### 2. Unlocks Power BI Potential with Write-Back and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Power ON?**

Power ON gave our team the added functionality of being able to write back to a database directly from our Power BI dashboards. This has so many different and valuable use cases and unlocked a lot of capabilities for us. Their customer support is exceptional and they are always will to work with us on new solutions and implementations. We have also only scratched the surface on potential use cases. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add this type of functionality to their BI.

**What do you dislike about Power ON?**

The back end (database setup, connection, license configuration, etc.) is challenging and usually requires a call with PowerON's technical team. That team is very supportive and responsive which is great, but wish we were able to be a little more self sufficient with this.

**What problems is Power ON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power ON is giving our team the ability to write back to databases directly from Power BI dashboards. This has a multitude of different use cases.

Flexibility to use it in a number of scenarios, not just financial planning
Ability to customize the Power XL features
Very simple for straightforward scenarios

No ability to track usage, licensing, etc.

**What problems is Power ON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forecasting, Annual Planning and a host of other 1-off solutions. Forecasting and Annual Planning replaced a complex set of spreadsheets that was fragile, difficult to manage and provided little reporting. The new solution resolves all of these shortcomings. We also use it for any 1-off solution that requires users to bulk enter data that we want to capture in a SQL back end. It's easy to configure and users are familiar with the Power XL interface since it behaves almost exactly like Excel
