"Posit Stays Ahead with AI Innovation and Truly Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

Posit has delivered an impressive range of technology-driven solutions! Rather than simply catching waves, they stay ahead of the curve with AI and other innovations. Both the vendor and our primary contact have been outstanding partners to my team—always providing prompt responses to our questions and connecting us with the right solutions and people. During our monthly touch-base meetings, we discuss blockers, concerns, and potential needs, and every point is consistently heard and addressed. They genuinely care about their customers! What do you dislike about Posit Team?

I honestly find it hard to point to anything I really dislike. If I had to offer one constructive suggestion, it would be to include a solution engineer in our monthly meetings when we encounter a specific issue (something Posit has already done upon request). Having that direct expertise available would give us more focused, hands-on support and could make troubleshooting easier than working through pages of documentation. "Exceptional Open-Source Data Science Tools with Great Documentation and R/Python Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

I love that they create tons of open source software for data science. The software packages are well-designed to work together as a whole with a shared philosophy, have excellent documentation, and have both R and Python support. I also think that the Posit Team has one of the most balanced approaches to the use of AI and provides some of the best software for LLMs, like "ellmer." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

There is nothing that I dislike about the Posit Team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Posit Team Makes Biostatistical Work Reproducible, Collaborative, and Secure"
5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

What I find most helpful about Posit Team is that it makes biostatistical work more reproducible, collaborative, and secure. It allows teams to develop, share, and deploy R and Python analyses in one reliable environment, which is especially valuable for clinical, regulatory, and research workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

One area for improvement is that Posit Team can require some initial setup and onboarding, especially for teams moving into a more centralized analytics environment. Thankfully, resources like Posit Academy and Posit’s documentation/training have made that barrier much easier to overcome. I would also love to see even more complete support for Databricks, since that would make integration with modern data platforms even stronger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Posit Makes Data Analysis Approachable with a User-Friendly RStudio Ecosystem"
4/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

What I appreciate most about Posit is how it simplifies complex data analysis and makes it more approachable for users across different skill levels. Tools like RStudio offer a user-friendly environment that helps streamline coding workflows in both R and Python.

Another major strength is its open-source ecosystem, which supports ongoing improvements and benefits from strong community backing. That community support makes it easier to learn, troubleshoot problems as they come up, and stay current with common industry practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

One limitation of Posit is that it may not run as efficiently when working with very large datasets. Although RStudio is highly effective for analysis, it can sometimes feel slower in these situations compared with dedicated big data tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Deployment and Community Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

I love Posit's leadership in the market and its ability to stay ahead of the curve by quickly adopting new technologies and paradigms. They've significantly contributed to the open-source community with a culture that's best in class. The documentation is top-notch, comprehensive, and the community is responsive. Posit is reliable and lets me focus on my actual work without bother. It excels in publishing, enabling even new users to explore confidently. The admin tools like logs and diagnostics are top notch. It's easy for end-users to set up access and schedule content execution. The product is well-designed and aesthetically pleasing, reflecting the care and passion of the smart people behind it. The integration and connectedness with other tools are seamless, making setup a breeze, especially for those familiar with RStudio. Importantly, Posit serves my needs fully without the extensive feature list overpowering my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

We have some issues with the OS we decided to use for deployment, RHEL9. It's related to OS packages and not Posit. There's been the unusual blastula curl bug, python bin mismatch, and misconfigurations over the years, but nothing that I could directly blame Posit for. They have bugs in their software suite, but they're never blocking. We can usually route around them in about an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Creative Lab for Insightful Data Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

I use Posit as my focused space for turning scattered data into clear insight. It helps me explore datasets, test ideas, build models, and shape clean visual stories in R and Python. I love how everything stays organized in one structured workspace where coding, testing, and reporting flow naturally, reducing errors and saving time. The editor feels clean and focused, and the console responds quickly, which makes testing ideas easy and comfortable. I appreciate how plots, data, and project files stay connected, allowing me to understand my work at a glance. It keeps my scripts, results, and reports connected in one smooth workflow and helps me stay structured, confident, and fully focused on analysis without unnecessary distractions. One more thing I really enjoy about Posit is how stable and reliable it feels, even during long work sessions. It handles large projects smoothly and rarely interrupts my flow. I also appreciate how easily it connects with version control and reporting tools, making collaboration simple and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

While I value Posit overall there are a few areas that could improve. Occasionally performance slows when working with very large datasets which can interrupt momentum. The interface is clean but some advanced settings feel hidden and take time to discover. I also think the built in collaboration features could be more seamless for real time teamwork. Small refinements in speed, discoverability, and collaboration would make the experience even stronger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Tool for Data Analysis with R and Python"
4/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

I like that Posit provides a stable and well-organized platform for data analysis with R and Python. It helps keep workflows reproducible and projects structured, reducing environment and setup issues. Posit facilitates focusing more on analysis and insights rather than managing tools. Additionally, it integrates smoothly with other tools I use, fitting seamlessly into my workflow for analytics tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

Overall, Posit does what I need, but it’s not perfect. When I first started using it, the setup took longer than expected, and figuring out some of the options wasn’t very intuitive. There’s also a bit of a learning curve with more advanced features. Occasionally, performance slows down when working with larger datasets. Better onboarding and clearer guidance would make the experience smoother, especially for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Posit Streamlines Enterprise Data Science with Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager"
5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

Posit is a platform developed by actual data scientists that understand the actual "boring" problems that most data scientists face in a business setting. Each tool is purpose-built to solve a particular problem. Workbench makes it easy for everyone on your team to be working in the same environment from day one, with consistent software versions. Further, you get your choice of IDE and scalable compute. Connect is the "crown jewel" that allows push-button publication of reports, APIs and applications. This product means that key analyses are no longer lost in email or sent around as Excel files, but are shared in an enterprise-ready production platform. Package Manager is the least exciting, but solves a critical need around cyber security compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

Posit costs have been increasing at higher than expected rates year-to-year which makes managing budget difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Data Science with Seamless R and Python Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Posit Team?

So i have used many tensorflow, scikit platform and one of my friend recommended me this app after some years of experience in Python,R and Machine Learning.

So this platform was a total game changer for me in terms of effectively using R and python language. Now i can easily club all my works into an extraordinary platform which have a great backup facility too.

This platform gives you an super edge to focus on the analysis of your code rather than debugging and data cleaning. Honestly this gives you the professional vibe to implement and work on your data Science work. Another thing i like the most that you don't have to take tension for your project files and databases because each project have it's won file, database, library and environment. And even if you come after an year and load and run your project it will run smoothly like before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Posit Team?

Well it is one of the best platforms which i have ever used and the only dislike i think is that for beginners it is hard to understand it's functionality for the first time, and for some I think it took them a year to know about the features and how to use them.

Other than this one major thing is that it is heavy platform so for smooth performance the RAM>=14 needed quadcore with 526 GB SSD needed .But it will still run on 4 GB RAM too with minimum lags if you only need to run smaller models and want to used to it all the features.
